It's the Return of the Farketplace!

Back in 2015, Drew gave us a space for a "Fark Bazaar" thread where we invited our brilliant and creative Fark community to post links to their online stores so we could all score some awesome stuff from each other's businesses. We did it again last year, but with the much cooler name "Farketplace." And now once again you're all invited to link to your Etsy, eBay, Amazon or other online storefronts to sell your goods and services. This includes pretty much anything legal: handmade décor you crafted, jewelry you made, scarves you knitted, hand-sewn footie pajamas, quilts, photography, artwork, hand-blown glass dragons, antiques, demon-possessed dolls... whatever fits.

We've always known Farkers are a creative bunch, and the previous Farketplace and Fark Bazaar proved that. Just remember that links to your personal businesses are only allowed within the Farketplace thread - linking elsewhere will be considered spam and will be dealt with accordingly. If you don't have a storefront but still have something to sell, make sure your email is visible in your profile so that Farkers can get in touch.

And please let us know if the Farketplace threads have been helpful for you, either for selling or for shopping. Fark is not taking a cut from the sales or charging for this, nor are we connected to the businesses Farkers list in the Farketplace in any way, so we only know how successful it is when you tell us. Plus, compliments just make us feel all warm and fuzzy. And if you feel comfortable doing so, go ahead and let everyone know about the great stuff you purchased from fellow Farkers.

It's been a rough couple of years, so let's help Farkers get that bread before the winter holidays.

Obligatory disclaimer: Fark will not be responsible for any transactions or other events to arise out of the Farketplace thread. Your shopping/selling will be considered off-site activities and Fark will not monitor or intervene based on those activities.

Last year DisseminationMonkey put together some tips on inserting links and photos, as it's a good idea to post some photos of the type of stuff you sell along with the link to your shop. It'll get more attention, and hopefully more buyer$.

________________

Just some random tips you never asked for:

We have buttons to help you post photos and clicky links. Please contact Farkback if it tells you you can't post the link you want to this way - you could possibly be confused for a spammer who used the same site. Let them know what the error message says.

Here are the buttons to post links and images. Bonus: If you insert an image and then select/highlight the image and the click the button to post links, you can make it so that clicking the image goes to your site. Fark will automagically resize your image if it's too wide for the thread. And, as always, "preview" is your friend!

Fark user imageView Full Size

When you click the button to add an image, the box below will pop up. If your image is already posted somewhere, you can enter the URL in the box and hit "OK." If you're uploading the image from your device, click on the "upload" tab inside the box, click "browse," select the image, wait for it to upload, then hit "OK."

Fark user imageView Full Size

These buttons at the top of the thread (sorry, they're only on the desktop site at this time, not mobile) allow you to keep tabs on the thread. Click on "favorite" to add this thread to the favorites you can keep bookmarked in your profile. Click "watch" if you want to receive emails letting you know whenever there's a new comment in this thread. Whicever threads you've favorited or are watching are private and other Farkers can't see them.

One more note: Do not just paste the link to your shop in the comment box. If you do that, it will most likely not work even if someone copies and pastes it. The URL will look fine, but Fark often inserts invisible characters into links that are posted that way to deter spammers. Instead, use the "insert link" button (looks like a chain link) above the comment box

Hello!

I make things out of wood - mostly custom beer tap handles.
Here's my IG page: tapwood carving (where I typically post progress shots, if that something you're interested in watching). And here's some of my work (including a couple pieces made as a result of last year's Farketplace thread):

The best thing I have for sale is NFTs.  Laugh if you must.  But I am having a great time of this.

Here is the landing page for all collections:  https://nft.dpoisn.com/

Here are a couple of shortcuts to the actual marketplace if you want to skip all that.
See...  The above link is specifically for things I have created myself.  But I have a bunch of other things for sale:
https://wax.atomichub.io/profile/dneb.wam#listings
https://wax.atomichub.io/profile/d4ld.wam#listings

If you REALLY want to be helpful, you can check out the items I have on OpenSea.
https://opensea.io/collection/dp-websafecolors
https://opensea.io/collection/dpoisn

This all absolutely counts as a marketplace.  Especially since most of what I'm pushing here is stuff that I actually created!  And, yeah, I could use the help.  Because even a couple of sales gives me the ability to create MORE!!

Thanks! It was my first serious pyrography effort over 10 years ago and I felt great about how it came out. Oh.  Yeah.  That would be an issue.  You can get Matic on CoinBase and send it in...  That's one idea.

Either way, man, the gas fees are not just ridiculous.  That is a completely, absurdly, STUPID f'n thing they've got going on there.  There is no way it should cost that much just to move entries on a ledger.

That, btw, is why I'm using Matic.  To avoid that shiat completely.

Your glass work is superb!  But you left me with several questions...

1)  I have several dozen old liquor bottles that I've, well, horded over the decades.  I've always wanted to do something with them as a hobby, but never really had the time or place to figure anything out.  Any ideas for inspiration?

II)  How do you make those glass fusion art pieces?  Do you have a youtube account or something on your site that could show a work in progress so I could understand the nature of the fused pieces?

c)  If you have 3 cats, why haven't you been on Caturday?!?!  I'll expect you to be on there when it pops up on the Greenlit tab on TF this Thirsty Thursday!!  Bring pics of your cats, and a link to your glass art site.

Heh, well thank you!  And to answer your questions:

1.  I, too, have a bajillion liquor bottles, mostly Grey Goose, Belvedere, and Woodford Reserve.  I plop them in my kiln and flatten them into cheese boards, but I've been a bit busy and they're stacking up.  I also want to use my glass saw (it's basically a wet tile saw with a fancy thin blade) to cut the thick bottoms off of the bottles to see how well they flatten without the big lumpy bottoms.  I never ever ever never ever recommend using one of those commercial "bottle cutters" than involve boiling water, ice, string, or whatever.  It CAN work.  It can also break badly and shatter.  Just say no - find a glass artist with a saw.  :)  SO:  Fusing flat to make serving trays.  Cutting the bottoms safely off to make glassware.  Cutting the bottoms off, drilling a hole in the bottom, and using hardware to make a lamp (or upside down to make pendant lights).  I've used a bottle cut in half top to bottom to make a stained glass piece.

2.  I do not have any videos of me working - honestly for anyone NOT me I think it must be like watching paint dry.  Glass blowing and torchwork - now THAT's the sexy glasswork worth watching.  Fused pieces are made by placing flat pieces in a kiln in a pattern, fusing/melting them into one flat piece, then "slumping" (less heat) into a ceramic mold.  That's way, WAY simplified, but the basics.  I can, and have, talked about glass for hours on end - it's my passion and full-time job.

3.  I thought "Caturday" was on a weekend, not Thursdays, that would explain it.  And I rarely am on a PC on weekends.  ALSO - although I'm a longtime TFer, I barely ever venture out of the AM or Afternoon Cafe threads.  In days past when Fark was less friendly - I had a few bad experiences, and am most comfy staying in my lane now.

[Fark user image 547x515]

I also forgot to thank His Drewness very many for doing this. I also also forgot I sell t-shirts. Been so dammed long since one sold so it's an easy thing to forget.

Bought a shirt and was wondering if you have ever done a book nook insert/miniature?

Curtsies. I haven't done one, but would certainly be up for something different like that. I have been wanting to do a shadow box or something with lighting. If you are interested, drop me a line.

I don't have a webstore, but I do have stuff I am looking to sell.  I am getting away from the military side of living history, moving over to the civilian side.  So here's a list of things I want to sell, with a little history lesson attached to each:

-Mounted Trousers, Enlisted, Dark Blue, Schuylkill Arsenal, 44 waist, 32 inseam, worn a few times, $100 (Chris Sullivan/Stony Brook) [The 1858 army regulations set the uniform at a dark blue color for trousers for all but the Light Artillery.  Cavalry regiments had trousers reinforced for comfort and durability.]

-Mounted Trousers, Enlisted, Sky Blue, Schuylkill Arsenal, 44 waist, 32 inseam, worn a few times, $100 (Chris Sullivan Stony Brook) [The 1858 army regulations allowed the Light Artillery to continue to wear the older pattern sky blue trousers.  In 1861, the new army regulations set the trouser colors for all foot and mounted regiments to be sky blue, as dying wool to that color was more affordable than dark blue.  Depending on supplies available, the mounted regiments could have reinforced trousers or foot trousers, and there is photographic evidence after the war of soldiers wearing non-uniform trousers with reinforcements while out on campaign.]

-Foot Trousers, Enlisted, Dark Blue, Schuylkill Arsenal, 44 waist, 32 inseam, worn a few times and missing one button, $100 (Chris Sullivan/Stony Brook) [The 1858 army regulations set the uniform at dark blue.  Plain trousers with no stripes indicated a Private; the NCOs and officers had stripes on their trousers to indicate rank, useful when all were wearing overcoats.]

-Fatigue Jacket, Schuylkill Arsenal, 48 chest, worn multiple times and in good condition, $100 (Wambaugh, White & Co) [The army phased out fatigue and summer uniforms as a cost-saving measure after the Mexican-American War.  Due to the difficulties of keeping uniform coats (hip-length frock coats for foot regiments and waist-length jackets for mounted regiments) clean while on stable and fatigue duty, the army reintroduced fatigue items like stable and engineer coveralls, and a light-weight flannel fatigue jacket patterned off of civilian sack coat working class jackets.  This was to be worn while on fatigue duty, while the uniform coat was to be worn at daily parades and while in combat.  Campaigning soldiers had more leeway with uniforms, and gradually the army abandoned the uniform coat altogether in exchange for the later 5-button fatigue/sack coat.  During the Civil War, the uniform coat was in short supply, and volunteers were typically issued fatigue coats instead.]

-Pattern 1857 Accoutrement Set, .58 musket, unused, $150 (Missouri Boot and Shoe) [The infantry accoutrements consisted of a waist belt and a shoulder belt, holding a bayonet frog and scabbard, cap pouch, and ammunition box.  The army introduced a new set in 1857, as part of the efforts in replacing the M1842 musket with the M1855 Rifled Musket; the rifled musket used shorter .58 caliber ammunition and needed a smaller ammunition box, unlike the .69 caliber smoothbore musket.]

-Contract Variant Issue Shirt, 48 chest, worn frequently but always with a layer under it, $50 (Wambaugh, White & Co) [The standard issued shirt coming from the arsenals prior to 1861 was a white domet flannel shirt of a cotton/wool blend.  During the Civil War, the high demands for uniforms led to some simplifications, particularly for items purchased from private contractors.  One such simplification was the mass production of gray-colored wool flannel shirts.  This type of shirt would be seen in New Mexico, but typically after 1862.  After the war, the army switched back to the standard white domet flannel shirt before experimenting with blue flannel shirts in the 1870s.]

-Jefferson Bootees, custom made (approximately 11 1/2 wides), worn frequently but still in good condition and just needs a good cleaning, $50 (Missouri Boot and Shoe) [The standard army shoe from the arsenals was a simple leather shoe with laces.  Soldiers were issued them with or without heel plates, depending on the whim of the quartermasters at the posts.  After the Civil War, there was a significant stockpile of shoes from arsenals and from private contractors, with various manufacturing techniques used.  The most prized shoes had sewn soles; the least prized shoes had pegged or nailed soles.]

-1858 Army Hat, undressed, 7 1/2 head, worn a few times, comes with a hat jack, $50 (unknown source, from Ford's Company vendor) [Prior to 1858, the army issued tall wool shakos/Albert caps to regiments, without specific fatigue caps for fatigue duty.  Soldiers would wear their good hats, or find civilian hats provided that their NCOs would not particularly mind.  In 1855, the army introduced a fatigue cap that looked like a shako that had been deflated, made from wool and cardboard with a leather bill.  The army also introduced a new army hat, that consisted of a tall stovepipe with a wide brim around all sides.  It would be dressed up with brass insignia, cords, and a feather, with one side of the brim tacked up.  This was the parade hat and combat hat, although many soldiers would buy a spare without the dressing, to wear while campaigning.  The dressed hat would be left at the barracks.  During the Civil War, some volunteers were issued the army hat, although the fatigue cap was more frequently issued instead on the other side of the Mississippi.]

-Haversack, fairly clean and in good condition, $50 (L.D. Haning) [The haversack is a simple cloth bag, painted with a linseed-based black paint to provide waterproofing.  While campaigning, the soldiers were typically issued three days of marching rations at a time, which consisted of a pound of hardtack per day, plus various amounts of salt or fresh pork or beef.  The food and any eating utensils were stored in the haversack.  Personal items were rarely stored in the haversack, due to the greasy meat that was stored in it as well.  These items were rarely retained after the Civil War, due to their nature as food containers.  The army began using linseed oil waterproofing to protect uniforms, as grease from the salt pork and other meats could soak through the haversack and damage uniform trousers.]

-Canteen, with leather straps and good jean cloth covering that can be reused on another canteen, metal is rusted but can be broken open for canteen half bowls/skillets, $25 (Dell's Leather Work leather and Axel Ulrich canteen) [The canteen was manufactured by various arsenals, and the Cincinnati Arsenal was the common source for canteens west of the Mississippi.  They had leather straps, and were wrapped with whatever waste fabric was around in the arsenal, typically a wool/cotton jean cloth.  During the Civil War, cost-saving measures were introduced like replacing the leather strap with a simpler cloth strap.  There was no uniformity in the cloth coverings, and sometimes volunteers received canteens without cloth coverings.]

-Parker-Hale Enfield, acquired in really good condition and not fired since acquiring, $1000 [The P1853 Enfield was the most common English import rifle during the Civil War, but few made it to New Mexico.  The most common weapons in New Mexico were the M1842 Musket, the M1855 Rifled Musket, and the M1861 Rifled Musket, along with various carbines for the cavalry regiments.  The imported arms in New Mexico were mostly limited to old French muskets, possibly leftover stock from the Mexican era.]

-Enfield Bayonet, low quality import and missing a screw, but at least it's a start, $25 [see above]

Here are some photographs:

If you like steampunk or classic sci-fi, I am reprinting the forgotten works of the 1880's American "Jules Verne," Luis Senarens. Bonus: he was a Cuban-American. His boy-genius character, Frank Reade Junior, starred in 187 stories where he invented flying machines, submarines, and all sorts of cool, steampunk vehicles.

They're on paperback and ebook here at Amazon and here at Barnes & Noble.  There are other editions by other publishers, but mine are edited to take out language that -ahem- we no longer use today.

Fark user imageView Full Size

Also, because I thought it would be funny, I'm printing a line of little girl tearjerkers. They're aimed at the Nancy Drew age range, and they're as heartbreaking and sad as I could get the authors to make them.

You can get the paperbacks or ebooks here at Amazon, and here at Barnes & Noble.

Very cool - loved Miller's f-18 books.

About how long would 40k words be in audio? The readers of my genre (LitRPG) seem to go for much longer audiobooks, so I'd probably have to release my first trilogy as a single audiobook

Oh, that's convenient, finally made a site for our shop a few weeks ago.

CNC Trading, NZ based but we'll ship overseas (of course only some things are economical).

CNC Trading Limited

We have some wild and wacky shiat, we don't make anything ourselves (yet, I'm presently designing and prototyping an automated coffee roaster that I want to get manufactured but that's at least a year away), but we buy and sell anything and everything. I restore a lot of it myself, such as the antiques and vintage technology. (Cameflex Cameras, Radiograms and Gramophones, Sewing Machines, Furniture etc).

But then the vintage stuff is offset by the modern commercial airliner avionics, servers, ferris wheels, karaoke machines and pants, lots and lots of pants (and nurse uniforms and chef uniforms, and chemical manufacturing isolation suits).

Then there's the free stuff section of gear where I just thought, eh, cbf.

So far I've only had time to list a small portion of the weird stuff so there's more going on there daily whenever I find time to take photos.

Small section of the vintage stuff, although the avionics section is both the barest and the most exciting, I think.

I enjoy collecting fossils and mineral specimens. I usually end up selling what I don't keep for myself because it's the only way I can avoid hoarding. The last couple of years I've focused on collecting, cutting, and polishing thundereggs. Here's the link.

Thundereggs are a type of rock that form within rhyolitic lava flows. They develop hollow interiors as a result of gas expansion. This happens while the lava is still hot and liquid-like. After the lava cools and hardens, water transports silicates and other minerals to the hollow interior where they crystallize into agate, jasper, opal, quartz, amethyst, calcite, etc. The crystallization can fill the interior completely or leave a small cavity lined with crystals. No two thundereggs are alike. Here are pics of what some of them look like.

Hey Market Farkers!

I don't make a thing you can hold in your hand (at the moment; Stay Tuned) but I do put out the Bad Astronomy Newsletter on Mondays for free and Thursday for paid subbies. It's also possible to buy a subscription as a gift. The newsletter is about astronomy, space, personal stuff (lots of pix of birds and other animals where I live), personal opinions, the occasional short story,
and so on.

Cyclometh: I narrate audiobooks- you can check out my very basic website at https://voxman.net for my various demo reels, or go here to see all my published works on Audible.

If you're a writer with a book you want to get published in audio form, I might be able to help you out, either directly or by helping you get it produced.

I have been looking for a narrator on ACX for over a year. I have had several people audition but none have hit the nail on the head. The book is called Memory Reborn and is currently not listed on ACX as I let it lapse out of frustration.

You can read some reviews for Memory Reborn on Kirkus Reviews, Booklife Prize Critique and Booklife review, Goodreads, and, of course, Amazon.

I listened to some of your work and like what I hear. This evening I will return to ACX and update the posting for Memory Reborn so that you can submit an audition if you are interested.

Speaking of NFTs.  The ones I posted before are not the only collection I support.

As an agency, I also support the State Cards NFT collection.
https://wax.atomichub.io/explorer/account/1xycq.wam#listings

There is a card for each of the 50 states and 5 territories.  Each card explains the currently legality of a certain substance that for some reason is still vilified some 50 years after Nixon.

Each card is minted only 10 times.  True collector's items.

Any knitting Farkers out there (FarKnitters?) ... anyway, I'm Alasdair from Fallingblox Designs. I teach workshops and write patterns for all levels of double-knitting experience. You can find my stuff online at https://double-knitting.com/. If you don't know, double-knitting is a method of knitting that has no wrong side. I have been working for the past 15+ years to push the boundaries of what is possible with this technique, and currently am among a handful of people riding the bleeding edge of knitting innovation.

Some highlights follow. Nota Bene: I don't sell the finished objects (you couldn't afford it -- and if you can, get in touch), I just sell the books/patterns and instructions for making them yourself. Much more affordable, and more fun!

I mostly crochet wearables - hats, scarves, shawls, lapghans, etc.  I prefer to work with natural hand-dyed fibres, or 100% cotton ply yarn - almost all from Canadian dyers and crafters!

I am a casual seller, no established shop - but I do custom work when asked, and sell my finished product often.  Instagram is here:  Idle Hooks Yarn

Just a refresher: I do commission smols and sell off stuff I do for myself  (gallery of stuff here) you can see some of the ones for sale on the first page of the thread. I also sell t-shirts which are apparently 20% off (as of typing). Not to put too fine a point on it, but I could really use some sales, either smols, shirts or both. Desperately. It's either that or I start begging and/or singing, and frankly, ain't nobody want that.

Thank you very many.

Prices all include shipping within the USA (International shipping is extra). Contact me with your request: dave at fark dot com (yes, really!):

8"x8" - $25 shipped worldwide
12"x12" - $55
18"x18" - $135
24"x24" - $250
48"x48" - $750

Any other diameter can be managed. I can create 4, 5, 6 (the usual), 7, or 8-pointed creations. Points above 8 get kind of hard to cut without a lightsaber...

I make coasters out of movie posters.  My main thrusts are horror or action movies, but I'll do customs of damn near anything for no additional charge.  They're a little pricey, but do bear in mind that I don't charge for shipping and USPS Priority Mail ain't cheap.

I also make Puzzle Books on Amazon.  I haven't got a whole lot, but I'm pretty happy with the ones that I've done.  I'm currently working on a cryptogram book with 500 quotes from movies. That's been a lot of fun to put together, but it does get complicated making sure I don't screw up along the way.

https://www.amazon.com/Steve-Lee/e/B0994VM9Y2/ref=dp_byline_cont_pop_book_1

As an aside, one of my books has a one-star review.  It was an entirely accurate one-star review, and I did a massive re-edit to correct the issues that were there.  I only mention this to show that (a) I do actually care about that stuff and (b) reviews matter.  I wouldn't have known there was an issue if that person hadn't given me a bad review.  Her review prompted me to do a head-to-toe review of everything I had out there and I did find a few other snafus so I'm really, really grateful that she submitted it. I just wish it wasn't the only review out there (and unfortunately Amazon won't let little people like myself respond to reviews so I can't send her a revised copy).

Probably not the sort of "handmade goods" you expect to see here, but me and my partner do make these by hand. Domestic robots, second-chance radio repeaters, laser cutters. All done in our little shop, made in the US, designed by us, lifetime guarantee.

This is my wife's art site -- https://www.jacquelinebelljohnson.com/ (need to cut/paste the link)

She is having a studio sale (click on the studio sale link) and has a lot of art pieces (mostly postcard size hand-drawn or printed art images but also some ceramics, sculpture, and printed fabrics).

Some samples of the work available:

fallingblox: Any knitting Farkers out there (FarKnitters?) ... anyway, I'm Alasdair from Fallingblox Designs.

Only have an Etsy shop right now, and is still being stocked, but there's a decent amount of starting items :)

I find a TON of 4-5-6 leaf clovers every year, so started making resin jewelry pieces with them.  Lots of trial and error, but so far I like this method the best.  Keychains and a couple other colors still need to be photographed and listed. Willing to attempt custom color requests if I have it in my collection.

toraque: For five years running, a crack team of editors have published an annual Fark Fiction Anthology, filled with submissions from your fellow posters here on Fark! And best of all, all proceeds from the sales of these anthologies go to support St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital, so you can read what Farkers have to say while supporting a good cause!

The previous years' editions are available on Amazon (well worth the money- we have some talented writers here on FARK), but this year's anthology is still being final proofed prior to publication. I have them all (and bought several copies to send to inflict upon friends and family. I re-read them often.

2016: https://www.amazon.com/Heart-Farkness-2016-Fiction-Anthology-ebook/dp/B01I71JI0Q/

2017: https://www.amazon.com/Through-Scanner-Farkly-Fiction-Anthology-ebook/dp/B07467ND6J/

2018:  https://www.amazon.com/Everybody-Panic-2018-Fiction-Anthology-ebook/dp/B07JBB71SB/

2019: https://www.amazon.com/Oh-No-Not-Again-Anthology-ebook/dp/B082QPL7NV/

2020: https://www.amazon.com/Fark-Time-Covid-Fiction-Anthology-ebook/dp/B08QDRPW7M/

I think the Kindle Unlimited edition is free, but the regular Kindle edition and dead-tree copies have a cost involved. None of the Farkers involved (authors or editors) get any of the money. All proceeds go to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, but they still won't let us say so on the actual publication.

Note: the links to Amazon may be a bit wonky. Go to Amazon books and search for any of the titles, and the rest should pop up as "people also read ..." down below.

I'm a little late to the party this time, but I make hand-cut coin jewelry as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and more. My website is :

Coin Operated Jewelry

It has a lot of my coins on there, but not everything so if there's a country or design you're looking for, just shoot me an email (also on my site) and I'm happy to do custom orders.

Some samples are:

Necklaces:

Puzzles (Usually in 9- 12- or 15-pieces, but also customizable):

Also, I'm not a big fan of Instagram or social media in general, but a sad truth of selling online is you need an online presence, so if you're not in the market for jewelry but still wanna throw some support my way, please follow along @coinoperatedjewelry on Instagram and leave a comment once in awhile. It actually does help quite a bit.

Thanks and happy holidays!

Unlike the many many talented Farkers here, the things I make are mostly for home use or for friends (knitted baby blankets and the like). However, I AM a small business owner. I have a travel agency. There's only two of us working this thing, and now that travel is actually coming back, we're hoping that firing up the business after 15 months of dormancy will be a good idea.

If you're looking to travel and would like to have somebody either guide you through the booking process or advocate for you in case something goes wrong, please consider a travel agent (even if it's not me, though I hope it will be).

I can be reached at travelbug at amaretravel doot coom.

Since everyone else is posting photos, here's a photo of me and my colleague from our recent sailing on Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady. We were on for Hallowe'en, and dressed as the Scarlet Lady (blonde mermaid with a red tail who's painted on the side of the ship) and Sir Richard Branson (though I looked more like Michael McDonald). The crew all recognised me and were calling me 'Boss' and 'Sir' all night, but my own mother didn't recognise me when I sent her the photo.

Hi, everyone. My wife's Etsy store is The Smiling Turtle.

She designs jewelry and stitch markers, using fair trade materials wherever possible.

Some of her items have a coffee theme, because who doesn't love coffee (apart from me - sometimes I'm amazed that wasn't a dealbreaker)?

She also has a line of spoon-themed items to raise awareness for people with chronic illness.

She has both budget and higher-end items, and she does take custom orders.

Right now, she is having a 15% off sale on everything, with free shipping anywhere in the continental US on orders over $35.

As some of you may know, our lives have been upended by me developing long COVID, so we could really use the support, plus (not that I'm biased!) her stuff is just gorgeous.

Feel free to contact her via her store if you have questions. Thanks!

I'm definitely going to need some tap handles sometime in the next year or so once I finish the basement bar, and these are epic.

I'm not talented at all in terms of arts or crafts or creativity. I'm too technically minded.  However, I know many farkers are writers, and what better gift for a writer than a custom pen? I'll shill for my cousin's business here, lol.

Instead of my own stuff, I am posting the URL for Street Health, that has a mobile health bus and other stuff.

Services - Street Health

Ontario Farkers - This is a moibile clinic service for homeless (and almost-homeless) people. With hospitals being overloaded and Omicron and flu season about to jam-up clinic waiting rooms, Street Health should be one of the more useful solutions to the ongoing pandemic.

They probably ahve a lot of overhead costs, like gas, insurance, etc., but it is definitely a way to reduce waiting room times in Ontario cities. I think if we can get enough investment, cities could use the model for permanent mobile clinics.

Yay! Thank you SquareBear73!
How's the tap handle doing? I can't tell you how many times I just giggled while carving that one - so incredibly cute! I am always happy to receive pictures of my handles in their new homes, if you have the opportunity.

And don't forget, it has free health care for life - if it gets a ding, send it over and I will clean it back up, good as new. You pay shipping to me, but that's it.
