germ78: dallylamma: It's been gross watching Toews, Kane, and Keith say that they knew nothing about the incident or who the victim was when other guys who were on that team (Brent Sopel in particular) previously stated that pretty much everyone knew and the victim claimed he was later bullied in practice because of the assault.

Kane strikes me as the type of person who absolutely would bully someone with homophobic taunts. Toews less so, but he was immature back then as well as a budding star so he might have thought he was above decency at that time. Sopel has always been a stand-up guy, so it doesn't surprise me that he's been cited as one of the people corroborating the stories coming out about the bullying.

I wonder how much the Hawks helped in getting Kane's rape case to go away.
