Weren't the Aztecs conquerors who stole all their chocolate from various vassal tribes? Or was that the Inca and gold/silver?

The Aztecs stole the hearts of the conquered.  Incas did the gold and chocolate (legend says they intentionally left the silver for the Spanish).
