I've watched his 30 Rock episode at least 7 times

schubie: I've watched his 30 Rock episode at least 7 times

Hah. That is one of the top 5 "30 Rock" episodes, and is probably the best "If you like this, you'll like the show" episode. I kind-of wish he had come back, but there wasn't really a lot more they could do with that character.

One of his best creations was Andy Barker, P.I.  Pure comedy, but still had an actual mystery to solve in each episode.

I highly recommend getting your hands on a completely legal version of Andy Barker, P.I. episodes; including the unaired episodes. I'm certain the DVDs I bought back in the aughts off eBay were legit, and totally worth it. I think it was like 12 or 13 episodes of cancelled gold weirdness. I'm a fan. His podcast is much more melancholy at times. Introspective and very personal with his guests.

I would probably actually watch it again. I remember watching it when it came out and finding is super uneven. Some episodes were the funniest thing on TV and some kind of dragged. But that was many years ago and I have seen a lot of crappy TV since then so maybe it is better than I remember.

Though I like Conan I never regularly watched his show, last show I used to not miss was Letterman before the switch, but in the driving sketch I could see it,....might be his voice too, it makes him sound shorter.

It's definitely up there.  The one where he goes to visit Hunter S. Thompson is up there as well.  And visiting the orchard with Mr T.
