Much like my Fark handle, an MLS goal counting as best of anything is technically possible...

As far as bicycle kicks go, Gabriel Rojas' goal for San Lorenzo was better.

the goalie being a dumbfark doesn't make this a spectacular goal. it never should have happened

How do you feel about the Carli Lloyd goal from half field? Or the last one Leftover Cocaine linked to in their second post?

MLS should make a silhouette logo out of that shot.

Is that legal? He kicked that other guy in the face. Is there a "high-kicking" in soccer like "high-sticking" in hockey?

This is the third "best goal you'll see all year.  The other two were considerably more interesting.

The awareness that Asprilla had to chip the keeper, knowing he was out of the box  and backpedaling is brilliant. This goal rocks.
Bicycle kick goals are pretty awesome in general, but not rare.

Yes, there is, although it's called 'Dangerous Play' and results in an indirect free kick

Origi's yesterday was cooler IMHO. Bicycle kicks are cool and all, but as others have said, it was a gift from the keeper.
