The 1999 South Park movie, Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, is one of the best movie musicals ever.

And the only musical I can sit through, unless The Blues Brothers counts.

I'm still not getting "Paramount+." All their other South Park stuff is on HBOMax, why do a second platform?

Yeah, I know, $$$.

Cutting the cabletv and just subscribing to all these crappy services is about the same cost with more content.

But yeah, a la cart sucks.

Precisely.  I have (too) many services, but I currently draw the line at Paramount and Showtime.

Only if you get the most basic of cable packages

You can get the top 6 streaming services (with the Disney/Hulu bundle) for a little over $50 a month. Most cable packages worth getting are at least $80. Though I suppose you do get internet with those packages too

I just now got Showtime because of Dexter. I have all the major ones but Apple now and it's still less money and more reliable than cable.

Shmigadoon was good

I had someone who watches musicals explain the inside jokes to me.

Otherwise, about the only musicals I watch are Muppets or the occasional Disney movie.   Which I guess are no longer separate categories.

/only has Apple+ because I had to replace my phone, and I got 3 months free

Does this mean we're not getting regular seasons on Comedy Central anymore?

A comment in TFA said something like that these would be basically South Park: Smaller, Shorter, and Circumcised.

Galavant was fun the first couple seasons. The music was unmemorable (not bad), but it was a cheery fun show.

It does. As for musicals, I think you'd like Meet the Feebles. It's one of Peter Jackson's earlier, far more demented films.
