The man said his 4-year-old son was sitting on his lap and was the one driving, sheriff's officials said.

How is that any better!?

I had Wisconsin, the alcoholism and DUI capital of the USA.

I was wrong, too.

I did too, but then I remembered that nobody gives a fark about DUIs up there so there was no need to concoct some bullshiat lie

Wyoming? I can see that but how did they get a DUI on a horse?

When my kid was four I drank a lot too

Police officers are not known for their senses of humor. I'd bear this in mind before trying to joke about your four-year-old.

"Sorry officer, this littler farker clearly can't hold his drink."

The kid only had a couple drinks.

Well, in Dad's defense, the kid was driving because he only had two beers.

Hey, the kid's got to learn to take responsibility for their actions at some point. He hadn't even been drinking, so arguably he's even more at fault than his impaired father.

FTA: Deputies arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence, violating probation and driving without a required device on his vehicle used to detect alcohol, Pownall said.

Clearly not his first time either. Dumbass.

The 4 year old was probably wasted too

What, no child endangerment charge?

"Hey, kid, has daddy been drinking?"

In Wisconsin that's legally sober.

Tfa says there was a 15 year old in the car

Why the hell not just let them drive and claim you're teaching them?

Why the 4 yo?

As a long time Wisconsin resident, same on both counts.

Because clearly, this guy is wicked smart. I just want to know if the 15 or 4 yr old is the one who he convinced to blow in the ignition interlock to start the car in the first place. I'm guessing the 4 year old and the reward was a driving lesson.

Not an effective DUI defense.

I was going to say the same thing. I thought maybe I missed it.

Agreed. As a born and raised Sconnie, two beers is the warm-up round. You need at least a sixer inside you before you could be considered to have really started drinking for the day.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive...."

I can believe it. Four year olds are lightweights.

GILLETTE, Wyo-

That is surprising.  I was told that Gillette was the best a man could get.

Both me and my dad drank a lot when I was 4. In Wyoming. Horses were present.

Clearly, the little bastard should have finished his license test and been more responsible before naptime! >.>
