If Twitter hadn't kicked Donny to the KKKurb he never would have been as successful in launching predestined to fail social media sites for fun and personal information harvesting profit.

True comeuppance is when he cries out and no one listens.

Great...the last thing we want is that prolapsed anus disguised as a humanoid cheeto having to come here.

I think it's funny that he asserts that the normal rules of jurisdiction don't apply to him because he was President, and that somehow means that Florida is actually the appropriate jurisdiction.

Also twitters pays its attorneys. So now that the Orange shiatgibbon has to rely on soon to be disbarred attention whores for representation I'm guessing his successful nuisance suits are coming to an end

I read that as "private kinks" and had an image of Twitter kidnapping Ivanka and holding her hostage outside the courthouse.

He traded his favorite thing, Twitter for something useless. I am very happy.

There will be some lawyer fresh out of law school that will be stupid enough to represent him to try to make a name for themselves.

Knowing his record for failure, the case will probably end with a verdict that his shiatposting cost Twitter revenue and he owes them billions.

For the first time in his spoiled-rotten little rich brat life, he was told "no". And worse yet, it's gonna be a "no" that sticks.

And it's a "no" he can't buy his way out of. Or one he can stall and stonewall and run out the clock on. Or when all else fails, he acts like a cartoon mafia don and tries to threaten his way out of it.

The Twitter Banhammer has been brought down and it will stay down. And there's not a goddamn thing Screamy McShartpants can do it about no matter how rich he says he is.

Trump right now:

Score this as a win for Trump. He filed suit in a jurisdiction he knew would reject his suit. Now he can fundraise on this.

2021-10-27 3:32:06 PM
He won't go to California, there's an icky commie governor there.

Isn't this the same lawsuit that tried to claim that Trump was addicted to Twitter to the degree that he could not be expected to actually consider the terms of service as a valid contract?

Is there any real advantage for him to have it held in Florida?

Yeah the distance, but I assume he won't be present anyway. Well, unless his lawyer wants him to cry about it causing him emotional distress, which likely would be true.

I'd care to guess he thought his good buddy-come-governor might be able to influence the Judge in his favor

It is, sadly.  That was all for the idiots who watch Fox News religiously.

They'll lap it up and believe that Cotton was trying to get some 'truth' when he was actually just being an annoying prick.

Man I wish I had the clout to enjoy all the advantages of a media platform/piece of software/thing owned by somebody else without having to abide by any of the responsibilities or rules of the end-user agreement.

There's some weird law in Florida that is probably unconstitutional that he is trying to sue under. Theoretically, the CA court could allow him to use said law, but a CA court is *much* more likely to just take one look at the law and declare it a violation of the 1st Amendment and Federal Supremacy.

Judge Tells Trump: You're Not Exempt From Twitter Rules Just Because You Were President

Well, technically he was exempt from their rules when it really mattered...

I do not have a Twitter account.

But I could, and therefore I am here to gloat over the fact that I can choose to have something that Trump cannot and that he really wants.

North California is not a thing. Northern California is a thing.
It's not all that important but it made me feel a little bit stabby.

Judges routinely ignore these mandatory jurisdictional clauses, but only if they want to hear the case (usually under the guise of "this person is a citizen in my state, so I want to protect them"). If a judge wants to enforce the jurisdictional agreements, it's because that judge doesn't want the hassle of dealing with a party.

This judge wanted nothing to do with case and so punted it to California. Can't say that I blame him.

Handcuff her to the door at Twitter. It seems to be a thing they do sometimes.
