Is Bill just a normal man on the street cameo?
Is he a super?  A villain?  Even if only for half a scene?
80 foot tall Carl Spackler!

Thanks a lot, jerkfacemitter.

Also, thanks a lot to the jerk who spoiled Murray's surprise role in Zombieland.

And thanks a lot to all you other jerks for whatever jerky things you've been doing.

I'd kill to see Bill Murray as an evil genius who wants to destroy the Earth. Do you think he'd be smarmy? I bet he'd be smarmy....

Ok, how about with Stan gone, Bill Murray takes over being a cameo in every marvel film - but he's always Bill Murray, the actor.

(looking at the big toe of Galactus)
Murray: "What the hell's that?"
Martin: "I think it's a... one of those... What the hell is that?"
Murray, tilting his head:  "It kinda look like, no, what the dang deal is it?"

I will say this once, ill say it again.

Make Murray the New Stan Lee Cameo. No one will argue that, and seeing him in random roles would be amazing.

No. It would just cheapen the Stan Lee cameos.

He's too old.  He'll be dead, and they'll be in the same spot again.  Make the cameo guy younger, like Bieber or Cyrus or Siwa or Zack and Cody.

Why not Haley Joel Osment? God knows Disney loved to put him in shiat until he got fat.

With how much coke he must have done in the 70's and 80's he's pickled. I don't think you'll have any major issues.

Because Stan Lee ever gave a shiat about artistry and sophistication of the medium of comic books.

Dude's already in his forties.  I think he was a good Deadpool, but I don't much care for old people getting these Marvel hero jobs.  I mean, They seem to be planning to drag this stuff out for years.  If your character has ageless immortality as part of its character sheet, then you need to start out kinda young.  Like that Thor guy.  Not like that Ant Man guy.  Of course, Ant Man doesn't have to be young.  I do think it would help to be younger than fifty to be an Ant Man, though.

I'm good with this.  Murray is too Murray for me to see him as anything else.  He was good in "Aloha," which was a halfway decent movie that gets a lot of stick for whitewashing the Emma Stone role.  Really, why not make her character 1/10th Hawaiian and the rest white (instead of 1/4 Hawaiian, 1/4 CHINESE and 1/2 Swiss or whatever)  if you really want her in your movie, Cameron Crowe?

But I digress.  Having Murray as the Stan Lee type role would be hilarious.

Cut to Bill Murray looking up the street where stuff is happening and people are running his way.

"Why did I agree to take this role?"
(turns around, walks away)

Cut to next scene.

Now, make it his reporter character from Groundhog Day, and that's his line every time.

Hear me out.

Reynolds cameos are in the same vein as Stan's; varying characters, times, locations, etc.

The catch being that in his capacity as Deadpool in the MCU, the mask never comes off. Not even to show off the scarred face make-up.
