They shouldn't hang. I mean, I wouldn't push a "the trumpos don't die" button, but spending even a single match of justice on poor people is a waste -- if the financiers know they're never gonna Find Out, do you think they're ever gonna stop finding defectives to fark Around?

They don't call them the Oof Goofers for nothing.

It's interesting that the people who buy into this nonsense the deepest, the most easily persuaded, are also lacking in other logical cognitive skills. So a group of Kruger-Dunnings plotting a coup together would all think, Hey I just have to show up and everything will be awesome without trying, and everybody is on our side.

So when the big day comes, everybody shows up with their selfie sticks, because it's 1776, and waits for the slam dunk. They were just there for the victory lap. Luckily for us, they were expecting a bunch of bots to show up, or whatever, and we all dodged a bullet. Most of us, that is.

What's in this for the Penskes?  They were obviously massive Trumpers, bought Rolling Stone and started to remake it in the typical alt-right neo-Nazi style to fit the Penske billionaire business model, but with as much leftist cred intact as they could muster.  Then recently they've just started publishing articles like this.

Oathkeepers aren't anti-government. That's just lazy journalism.

They have corrupted and twisted the armed services oath to support their terrorism as they believe they are freedom fighters fighting an oppressive government that has turned away from the constitution. No disagreement on the general sentiment from me. But it's when you examine their beliefs and that they are part of the movement weaponizing veterans who have been neglected or slipped through the cracks.

They're diametrically opposed to a constitutionally-established secular government. Close enough.

Hmm. Well, that does explain why Americans are now planning corporate space stations. Privatizing space is an utter shiatshow. Making the sky into private property means depriving everybody other than the owners of some aspect of the sky. In the meantime, it's happening because there are motherfarking Oathkeepers in the USA's piece of shiat goverment. Fark the USA, the fat farking farks.

Yep. Their conspiracy theories are all excuses they'd use to exterminate any and everyone they don't like, given the opportunity. Just like the Nazis made shiat up (and/or passed around old-ass conspiracy theories) about Jews, socialists, the disabled, the Roma, etc.

If they started doing that, then they'd have to admit that the Republican Party as a whole is a hate group, and that would be uncivil.

But really, they should make a modernized special edition where there's always someone in the background taking a selfie and Tyler has to keep reminding them that "talk about" includes posting to social media.

If these morons do crash the system I hope they realize that they lost their job, the benefits and the nice pension. I'm sure it will be someone else's fault at that time too.

No. That is not close enough. They are ideological zealots who have corrupted a document in what they want it to say, versus what it actually says. Taliban and the Islamic State are still Muslim. Church of Latter Day Saints and Westboro Baptist are still Christian. They still believe in a parliamentary representative government.

"...the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."

Previous to Obama SPACE Act, which privatizes space, the treaties were explicit: space is not to be privatized, and doing so damages something that is shared. Shared international space stations that disallow advertising are doing it right. Allowing satellites that are privately owned are doing it right. The plans like Starlink that create demonstrations of corporate power (long streams of satellites visible in the sky instead of small, anonymous, lone blips) are doing it wrong.

They can plan all they like. The technology to make them possible (as envisioned by Bezos, at least) is decades away, if not longer. We'd need a way to create artificial gravity, just for starters, and/or a way to deal with the long-term physiological effects of being in a zero-G environment.
