(MPR News)   To be honest, when that parasite is named the "tongue-eating louse", what else would you expect it to do?   (mprnews.org) divider line

Seafood would be a lot less popular if people knew about the parasite load those animals carry.

Oh, this critter again? Well, no complaints from me - someone out there is learning about these things for the very first time.

One of those critters that makes one scratch Darwin's head. The evolution of that isopod must be bizarre.

/ It could've picked a worse place.

I've had a really hard time eating seafood after taking Parasitology.

I saw a movie called "The Bay" which was the first movie I've seen in years that gave me nightmares. Now I see this article.

shiat like this is how I know there's no omnipotent, just, and loving god, because no such entity would create something like these, or guinea worms, or bot flies, or those wasps that paralyze caterpillars and then lay eggs on them so that the eggs hatch and then EAT THE CATERPILLAR ALIVE. Nope. We're all just random meat machines screaming into the void from whence we sprung and to which we will soon return, struggling endlessly in the interim.

Thought you were talking about Michael Bay for a second.

He's kind of a Parasite, removing parts of your mind and replacing them with his own.  But his provide no benefit whatsoever.
