Unless TV has misinformed me, everyone in Dallas works in oil or cattle and they drink bourbon all day at work and then they come home, put on a sport coat, and have more drinks while trading barbs at each other.  Then, they go out for drinks.

Also, they get into fights that result in them falling into their pool.

Dallas should farking remember.

(Sad thing was, I got this confused w/ Jay Bouwmeester, and I was going to praise the Ducks' medical staff. But this was yet a different episode).

Uh oh. Columbus fans, your goaltending depends on ghosts or some other actively-engaged afterlife. You're boned.

Oh yeah those great 6ers/Mavs, Flyers/Stars, and Phillies/Rangers rivalries really get me pumped.

/I root for Dallas sports teams so I'm biased but I always saw our fans as tame compared to other fanbases
//Kinda wish it wasn't like that tbh

It's all true. No mention of the horse I ride to work, though. Too obvious, I guess.

Considering 99% of people who live in Dallas are imports from all over the country, you're probably right?

It was one ah*le, not Dallas, just like the "Xfactor" is one ah*le, not KC,

Remember when Dallas sports fans booed Santa? And when they threw batteries at the opposing team? And when they cheered when a member of the opposing team got injured?

Maybe we should ask FIFA how to combat racism, they seem to have it under control.

I'd love to spend time wondering why sports seems to bring out the worst in people, but I have navel lint to gaze at.

To be fair to subby, that was the most useless story we've had on here in a long time. It's like it was written by playing AutoCorrect Roulette.

Generally speaking, the only Dallas fans that spread outside of Dallas are Cowboy fans and give people wise enough to stay away from Dallas specifically and Texas in general a chance to experience Dallas fans.

Thus the grief all other Dallas fans get.

OK let me see if I got this right. The only fans of any Dallas team, who live outside of Dallas, are Cowboys fans. And honestly, how dare they? I mean, last time I went to a bar to enjoy a Cowboys game with my Cowboys fan friends, we were sandwiched between an entire room of Browns fans & a less enthusiastic room of Lions fans. Therefore, I hate Cleveland & Detroit. Also, I know of Eagles bars, Steelers bars, & even a Jets fan club who presumably has a bar, but it might just be one guy wearing a hard hat, it's hard to tell.

Anyway. Point is. I think people create a caricature of the late 90's Cowboys fan in their heads & think we're all like that. It's silly.

He's a goalie. All hockey goalies are weird.
He already talks to the posts before and after games, asking for their help and then thanking them.

I wouldn't even say spread outside of Dallas.

Most Cowboys fans outside of the area are people who started rooting for them in either the '70s or '90s and have no association with the city whatsoever.

It's kind of like how Steelers fans were all assholes when I lived in Washington, but THOSE Steelers fans were only really Steelers fans because they wanted to be assholes to the local fans when SBXL happened. People actually FROM Pittsburgh? Totally fine.

Since moving to the Dallas area...Cowboys fans are fine, not over the top or annoying. But they were annoying when I lived on the West Coast in the '90s for sure.

I have a caricature of early 1980's Dallas fans that still rings true.
