Sounds like a popular major for UNLV men's basketball players.

I've done this. It is a bit of a challenge and quite a bit of fun to see all the finished pumpkins.

Pro tip:  If you stop up the toilet, you use a larger pumpkin for carving underwater.

My daughter did that a few years ago with her high school swim team. She had fun. The pumpkin was puréed, though.

When all of the "studies" classes are full and you still want to skate through college and work for Starbucks your whole life.

Cut onions in a bowl of water to prevent eye irritation. Carve pumpkins in an aquarium but be sure to tie the knife to your wrist in case of a pissed off manatee.

Im a math geek. Heck my HS guidance counselor tried to get me to take an art class to be well rounded instead of dropping violin just before the start of my freshman year. In my head, I didn't speak to him again unless i had to.

On of the few 'artsy' things i actually enjoy is carving pumpkins. Just before we did on sunday, the 4 of us went to the pub. A couple beers I thought to myself I could free hand 'Cov🖕d'. I was wrong. It turned into 'Cov🍆d'

At least my kids laughed.

Don't stick your junk into the water-jet.

I know a couple of guys who got PADI certified in underwater pumpkin carving. They needed any cert to finish their diver training and this was on offer.

because it would be a mess and you'd never get all the pumpkin guts out of your hair.

In my salad days we would offer to close up my grandmother's beach house this time of the year. We would go to Jamestown RI where a dive shop would host the competition. Much fun

The dive shop that certified me does this at the lake every year.

I won an underwater pumpkin carving contest in St. Croix in...1990? '91? I mean, there were only like 5 of us that did it, but I'll take the W.

The trick was to take extra weight down both so that you could just sit on the bottom and to put in the pumpkin so it wouldn't try to float up on you.
