NetOwl: Colorado is one of those square states, right?  Yeah, I think it's one of the ones I fly over when I'm going someplace more important.

There's probably a word for that.

Colorado is where Californians move when they want to create new traffic.

Maybe that's happening in the Denver/Boulder area, but in mountain towns and Western Colorado it's the garbage Texans invading.

Point taken. Texans ruin the southern and western parts of state, Californians ruin everything north of Castle Rock. Although I have been seeing a lot more Texas plates on the Front Range lately.

...and Castle Rock residents ruin Castle Rock?

There are residents in Castle Rock? I've always just assumed it was an outlet mall.

Even if it was Foxx that was one of the best weather forecast I've seen. The guy was very knowledgeable and the graphics made a lot of sense including the wind direction nap. I'm impressed.

lifeslammer: Duh subby. Colorado is better than California

I wished more people thought that, I really do. Million dollar 2-br, earthquakes, fires, floods and poop on sidewalks.  You do NOT want to move there. It doesn't matter how much that tech company is offering you, it's absolutely miserable here there

Also, on a serious note, Mexico could use some of that flood water to fill up Laguna Salada.  This is what it used to look like when I grew up:

Yep, did their damnedest to ruin our yearly Sand Dunes trip this year. Went to visit a small town nearby, and Texas plates outnumbered Colorado plates two or three to one. Had to listen to them talk to each other and everything, just awful.

If this thing puts more water in the Colorado River, that's not a bad thing.

If Colorado doesn't want it, Southern California will take it.
