I thought Urban Meyer was exploring dank, wet, dark, holes in Ohio again.

You know, a well made model of a shark would serve just as well, and be far easier to maintain.

Doesn't 'urban explorer' really mean 'criminal trespass?'

Maybe the explorer was 'courteous and refined in manner' and it's a spelling error

You'll only find whales in Ohio. No sharks, just lots and lots of whales.

The difference between this one and Hirst's piece?

How much people would be willing to pay for it.

People who could never eat a whole one, and decided to leave it for other people?

Someone who looked at the cost of moving and storing a couple tons of dead shark and said "f*ck it. not my problem".

My first thought upon finding that thing would be that some mad scientist supervillain had secretly set up his lab in this place and the speed with which I would get the fark out of there would be truly remarkable.

Actually, such a sign may have worked.
Would expect a zoology or marine biology professor would love a free shark to dissect with students.

So the shark died in 1998, moved to a park that closed in 2012, moved again in 2019 and apparently hasn't had anything "news"worthy happen since then.

Huh.

Oh, and "...attempted to destroy poor Rosie's tank"

Yes, poor Rosie. Poor dead, embalmed, abused Rosie.

It's got drunk Bull from Night Court, and the youngest kid from 7th Heaven rocking a bikini for most of the movie.
