Thanks for ruining it for everyone. There goes my retirement plan.

CSB - Believe it or not, food service at Six Flags wasn't as bad as one would think (I was ride operations myself) - especially if one worked in the employee cantina where they were treated like gods.  The cantina served the most common meals in the park but at three times the portion at half the cost.  And they were well made (as can be).

Back in the day, the best deal was the "cup of fries".  And yes, it was pretty much carnival food but it served its purpose.

Why can't the food tab have a hoagie tag? Or "grinder?"

Now only if Disney World did that, too.

Not sure "hero" applies here, but OK. If he could walk to Six Flags, maybe it'd be worth it.

I'd rather pay for food and not have to go into Six Flags.

The engineers I deal with make up their math and have a magic tape measure.

I always ask to get one, but apparantly I'm not a high enough level to get the magic tape.

Some like to confuse us miserably by just writing mils in the corner of the drawing. We're way past pretending there's only one measurement system. I can do both equally well, but mils (1/1000") is much different from a millimeter and it mattters a lot in some places. Like o-rings and I.D.

I used to drive by Six Flags in Illinois on my way to work. I had coworkers who would get the annual passes with free parking. They'd stop at the park after work and ride a coaster or two before heading home. They lines for the popular rides weren't as bad on a weeknight. There used to be really good deals on annual passes for something like $60 with some promotions you'd find, and the parking pass wasn't much more. Not sure I'd want to eat park concessions every day, but maybe the menus were better at MM.
