I was very happy to hear that, I love this show. It started off pretty good but kept getting better.

I love that Poppy and Ian are basically the same kind of asshole.

I was not a huge fan of the first season, but they really turned it around for me in the second season with the episodes focusing on Longbottom's backstory.

It changed the show from being humor about a collection of tech stereotypes to being really good story telling.

Also, it's nice to see the dude who plays Cricket on Always Sunny to get a non-crackhead role and nail it.

Great news. The only episode I didn't care for was Everlight. It seemed like they were trying too hard to do Advanced Dungeons and Dragons from Community.

And man, the episode A Dark Quiet Death. Wow. Wasn't expecting that.

I like the show but I think it's interesting are only tangentially related to the rest of the series.

yea lets pretend thats the main attraction of the show

This is an awful show. The main reasons are the performances of the leads, especially the actress playing Poppy, who brings a Disney Channel lack of talent to the project. Whenever someone tells me they watch this show, it makes me realize that they're more than likely an idiot.

What if Silicon Valley, but garbage?

I watch it, I mostly enjoy it, but honestly the two best episodes were the ones that were nothing like the rest of the series - season 1's "A Dark Quiet Death" and season 2's "Backstory!".

You've got no taste, got it.
Four of the top ten episodes of scripted tv ever are in there.

I want to like this show, as I'm a gamer and it speaks to me on that level, but... it just wasn't funny.

Call me an idiot.

I like the character of Poppy. I very much understand the character.

Yeah, I skip around, not loving the show.  But those eps and the LARP ep were the strongest, for me.  Maybe because I'm not loving the characters.  I'm not hating them or anything and I'll probably dip back in for a few more episodes next season.  Just not a fan yet.

Wait, but Silicon Valley is already garbage, so now you've gone and confused me.

(SV peaked at the dick jerking scene, and then rapidly got tedious and unfunny, and then it turns out the cast are largely shiatty people, which explains why it couldn't hold its momentum)

I'm glad I gave MQ a shot.  First episode turned me off, but it got really good.  Poppy is a fun psycho and the supporting characters are all interesting.
