Does Snyder gain anything by leaking these emails. These emails that show there was a toxic workplace with rampant racism and homophobia?

Surely Snyder was very supportive of the league and their approach of "for the love of god lets just sweep all this under the rug and don't even present us with written findings"

I actually could believe it isn't Dan Snyder leaking them, because they keep making him and the league look bad. He and the NFL tried to sweep it under the rug back in July. I think WFT and the NFL are now trying to set up Bruce Allen as the fall guy since he is the correspondent in Gruden's and Pash's emails, but I could believe a disgruntled WFT or NFL front-office member, angered by the truth of the situation, started leaking the emails to the press. All it has been doing is raising more questions about what was going on in the WFT organization.

But seriously, do we care anymore?

This feels more like a disgruntled staffer to me

You're forgetting a very important lynchpin in the psychology of the racist: they're never the problem.

"I know that being a racist is bad. But I also know that I am not bad. Therefore, I cannot be a racist. You, however....."

They will never look at themselves & ask, "Am I the real problem here?" It's ALWAYS someone else.

as petty as that little shiat is leaking emails about Jon is probably telling Jay Gruden to keep his mouth shut or he'll be out of the NFL forever too.

No more Grudens. Damn, talk about threatening me with a good time. If you can get rid of the 2 Belichick children as well, that would be just terrible.

You're missing my point. It wasn't in Snyders interest to leak anything. Because the league had already agreed that they didn't even want a written report and it was all just going to vanish.

Now that its out, sure, blame the guy who isn't there. No harm in that. But I'm be amazed if Snyder was behind this.

At least we have the gif of the mulleted one smelling and tasting his own lingering fart.

Agreed also on the "Snyder didn't leak these" thing. Maaaaybe the racism one, if anything, but certainly none of the stuff that brought Washington back into the spotlight.

sports reporters weren't letting it vanish.  They were mocking the whole process.

Reporters who's outlets depend on nfl money most certainly made sure that they didn't care.

All the breaking stuff seemed to come from outlets that don't depend on the league.

Interesting.  Explains why they were leaked to the Wall Street Journal and New York Times.
