The anus can be treated and probably healed (i think, no experience whatsoever with this situation).

Sure. Tucktuck launched into a spiel about how useless government is but of course not these government workers, who really keep civilization running: your cops, your firefighters, your ambulance drivers.

Then there was a hard cut to some douchetastic firefighter - ahem: some douchetastic former firefighter, thanks to his own choices that he freely made in a free country - who, underneath his whining, would just as soon murder us all. Unless "I'm really angry but trying to hold it together for my family," when accompanied by a quivering throb in the voice and a visceral facial expression of unreconstructed hate, has some secret meaning of which I'm unaware. The emasculation was a nice touch, worthy of a true master of the dark arts: "It feels like something's being stripped away. Something that shouldn't be."

Then a jump back and El Tucko began the intro to some Seattle radio host, who was about to show us the American carnage visited upon the Emerald City by the radical socialist BLM antics of Biden & The Anteefas, but he could not resist adding "a city already on the brink" and click that was all I was gonna take. Didn't stick around for the exceedingly unhealthy looking redacted radio guy. Or Carlson's summation.

I've heard it before, anyway.

Breakthrough cases exist, and if you have been vaccinated, you can still get the virus and may still shed the virus, with three caveats:

1) You are far less likely to get hospitalized or die from Covid-19 than a vaccinated person
2) The viral load (number of virus cells produced by your body) is less than a nonvaccinated person
3) Far less likely to incubate a virus variant, given less time and replication of the virus in the body of a vaccinated person

So Tucker is full of shiat, and will kill people

refudiate: 1) You are far less likely to get hospitalized or die from Covid-19 than a vaccinated person.

While true, it's not what Carlson addressed. He claimed that "the vaccinated spread COVID just like the unvaccinated. There's no difference, actually"

refudiate:2) The viral load (number of virus cells produced by your body) is less than a nonvaccinated person.

Not according to a new study from the University of California, Davis, Genome Center, UC San Francisco and the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub which "shows no significant difference in viral load between vaccinated and unvaccinated people who tested positive for the delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 [and] also found no significant difference between infected people with or without symptoms."

The Washington Post previously reported that "vaccinated people infected with delta have measurable viral loads similar to those who are unvaccinated and infected with the variant." It referenced then-unpublished data from outbreak investigations and outside studies which directly prompted the CDC to reverse its position on indoor masking among the vaccinated which is why we're all wearing face masks again.

refudiate:3) Far less likely to incubate a virus variant, given less time and replication of the virus in the body of a vaccinated person

Can you provide a source to support this?

refudiate:So Tucker is full of shiat, and will kill people

He's actually mostly correct.

It's true that vaccinated people who become infected with the predominant delta variant may be a little less likely to pass the virus on. "But the protective effect is relatively small, and dwindles alarmingly at three months...to almost negligible levels over time"

"I think partly Saturday Night Live parodies have this way of becoming reality,"

No, dipshiat, that's not how parodies work.  They only work because they funhouse-mirror reality.  So if people are laughing at a parody of you, they're laughing at you, at some aspect of you that's being exaggerated in the parody.  Roll with it and laugh along if you're a normal adult, or get pissed like a child.  Which one is like the parody?

He's lying about what vaccines do.

2021-10-21 7:56:53 AM
A CDC study found similar levels of virus in vaccinated and unvaccinated people that had contracted COVID-19.

But that study isn't the final word on transmission of COVID-19: first, it had limitations in the way it was conducted that could have missed important distinctions between vaccinated and unvaccinated COVID-19 carriers.

focusing on breakthrough infections misses the bigger picture:

People who are vaccinated are far less likely to get infected in the first place.

This is, to me, the most telling evidence that Tucker is going way out on a limb and hedging his bets that a civil war in this country is certain. He's making more and more verifiably false claims that he is increasingly confident will never be challenged because of further rising chaos of unrest. He's hedging that he's going to be forgotten in the melee. Further, he's the standard bearer of one side. We also see it in Bannon's sheer boldness in refusing to cooperate.

Further, what I'm saying is, that Tucker is a coward. If he's being this bold, he sees some pretty certain writing on the wall. He's sticking his neck out in a way here that says to me that he knows something we don't. He's unscrupulous...not an idiot. He knows he's wrong, and could be easily, factually, scientifically called out for it. He's counting on the unrest to make it so it never gets to that point.

Sumo Surfer: The Washington Post previously reported that "vaccinated people infected with delta have measurable viral loads similar to those who are unvaccinated and infected with the variant."

Not all vaccinated people, just vaccinated people infected with delta. If the vaccine reduces probability of becoming infected, then vaccinated people (as a group) will have few people with viral loads, and will infect fewer people. That is not a very big "if" - getting vaccinated reduces the probability of becoming infected by 76 - 90 %.

Tucker's blanket statement is wrong.

"Just people infected with delta" and "not all vaccinated people" = 99% of Covid cases in the US, so it's technically true that it's not all of them.

Yes, Covid vaccinations reduce the chance of infection or hospitalization, which is why I advocate getting the shot.

But it's efficacy drops significantly at only 16-20 weeks and research shows that those infected among vaccinated and unvaccinated alike have practically the same viral loads.

Ambulance drivers aren't government employees, not in the States. They're pretty much all run by private, for-profit companies, which is why there's such a massive fee for using one.
