Hi all,

Here is the match card for WWE Blood Money Crown Jewel:

Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar
WWE Champion Big E vs. Drew McIntyre
SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks (Triple Threat Match)
Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley (No Holds Barred Match)
Edge vs. Seth Rollins (Hell in a Cell)
WWE Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro vs. AJ Styles & Omos
Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali
Doudrop vs. Zelina Vega (Queen's Crown Tournament Finals)
Finn Balor vs. Xavier Woods (King of the Ring Finals)
The Usos vs Cedric & Shelton (Kickoff show match @ 11 AM)

And since I won't be here for the show (already had appointments scheduled I can't change), here are my picks:
Roman over Brock
Big E over Drew
BECK over Bianca & Sasha
Oldberg over Lashley
Edge over Seth
A.J. & Omos over RKBro (this pick hurt to make)
Mansoor over Ali ("reasons")
Zelina over Doudrop
Xavier over Finn
The Uso over Hurt Business 2.0

Bonus props:
Paul seems to betray Roman but it's a trick & he actually helps him beat Brock
Zelina wins with a roll up
Xavier has an over the top ring entrance
Big E low blows Drew (I just did what I had to do to retain the title)
Once again, most of the roster gets stuck due to "mechanical issues"
Riddle gets caught with a poppy seed going thru Immigration at the airport
Surprise WWE legend appearance (no, Beth, JBL, Booker or Lawler on commentary doesn't count)
24/7 title change
Total show runtime (not including the Kick Off show) - 5 hours 37 minutes

Everyone have fun watching & see you all for Smackdown & Rampage tomorrow!

The real question is how long will the plane home be mysteriously grounded?

Thanks subby, I'd forgotten it was on today.  Productivity, get thee to the crapper!

Not sure how active the thread will be but the card looks pretty good.

The problem is, the Saudis seem to highly value the stars of yesterdecade and it's highly likely we'll see shenanigans involving guys like the Undertaker, Cena, and HBK.  You also know that Getting Oldberg is going over Lashley in less than a minute.

It's kind of a shame, it feels like every time WWE seems to be building up newer worthwhile stars, those guys to get completely obliterated by an over the many hills ago veteran in a joke of a match at a Blood Money.

"Once you get locked in it's designed not to let you out."

Just ignore those countless times where guys broke out of the cell anyways!

Yeah, I don't disagree with most of this. It's a long standing problem that's even more pronounced any time they do the Saudi shows, and it definitely hurts the products overall.

I'm hopeful that WWE learned how stupid and career-killing it is to put Oldberg over anybody (see: Bray Wyatt), but I'm probably just being naive. I do think Roman goes over Brock though.

I work graveyars shift, Dont ask me why Im here but Im here.  Did this just start?  Did I miss anything worth notin yet?

Even Jessica Carr (the ref) has to wear a different outfit to cover more of her body...

Welcome! Just started. I didn't watch the pre-show so no clue if anything happened there.

HOLYshiat Not only is there a female ref for Hell in a Cell, which I think is a first, but also a female ref in Saudi!

2021-10-21 12:21:52 PM
I still can't believe they're casting Lashley as the heel for putting down hard the unknown crowd member who hopped the barricade, jumped into the ring, and attacked him from behind, as if any fan attempting the same wouldn't be put down just as hard by every wrestler, ref, and production person in the area.

\Hi everybunny!

Ya'know, the red cell really isn't bad with the white ropes and the brightly lit arena

Rollins goes for the eye! His signature!

He's pure babyface inside this thread, lol.

Is this an Arena or a Soccer Stadium?

It's really hard to make out how big the venue is

2021-10-21 12:26:51 PM
Rollins is certainly not afraid to bump his ass off today. That was pretty sick!

2021-10-21 12:27:05 PM
I like that spot with Rollins bouncing off the inside wall

There appears to be a roof overhead, so I was thinking they might be inside?

I think she was the ref in the women's match the previous year - I remember noticing the longsleeve turtleneck under the zebra polo

Bah gawd the crowd is chanting for El Generico!

Seth is taking some nasty looking bumps today!

Looks to me almost like a domed soccer stadium that they're using half of - like the entrance curtain is at midfield.

This has been a really good match!

2021-10-21 12:33:46 PM
There may not be a TLC PPV this year, but we've got all three in this match.

OH WOW.

I've been kinda unfair with my Blood in the Sand talk.

The people here seem to really be into the match so far, and wrestling always benefits from a hot crowd.  I forget they are fans like us, and have no control over how the Saudi Government acts

Basically this is how I look at it. 99% of the crowd has nothing to do with all the political machinations.

That was a fantastic match. Probably one of the best WWE has put on all year, and definitely the best match they've ever done at a Saudi show.

I would guess Zelina and Doudrop are probably up next? Tough act to follow.

Also, regardless of the motivations of the people responsible for it, the mingling of cultures and sharing of subcultures does, little by little, bring us closer together.  The more we share, the more we unite - less tribal, and less prejudiced.

For all the harm it also does, the internet is fantastic for this - all you know about a person is how they choose to present themselves - a fellow netizen can be anyone*, from anywhere*.

\well, techincally, not quite yet, but we're getting closer and closer

Mustafa Ali was born in Illinois? Ok then. Saudi vs American in this match!

I hope Mansoor ends up fully stomping Ali here, and then on Smackdown Ali walks up "Finally! That intensity? That's what I've been trying to get out of you.  That's what you need to bring every night - if we're going to win the Tag titles" and they're a team again.

For the most part I agree, but still have a problem with them barring Sammy Zane, and the way they treat women.  Baby steps I guess

Born in Bolingbrook, raised in Chicago. I've wondered if he was raised in the West Ridge/Desi Strip area, because I'm reasonably sure I went to school with one of his older brothers, but I haven't spoken to the guy in over 20 years.

I said basically the same thing in the Monday thread... I think the tag division is their best shot at consistent TV time.

Yeah Michael Cole, you've worked in WWE for 25 years and THIS...THIS is the strangest thing you've ever witnessed.

Kane strapped Shane's balls to a car battery and the fiend was deep fried by Orton

But THIS is strange

Up all night. Fell asleep after taking kids to school. Wake up, turn on the cock and this is what I'm greeted with?
