Maybe, just maybe, they really weren't looking before?

So THAT'S where all those missing persons go...

Well, that and the slave trade in Dubai.

7 bodies is shocking? Have they been here before? Do they know nothing about this country?

2021-10-20 9:27:47 AM
Were they found as a direct result of the search, or just during the same timeframe and the Sun is spinning bullshiat?

WhackingDay: 7 bodies is shocking? Have they been here before? Do they know nothing about this country?

Reminds me of that hopefully apocryphal story where cops in ... lasvegas? texas? idfk    were searching for a missing presumed dead person and found two decapitated bodies but had to let the suspect go because neither body was the suspected victim

Good thing I haven't dumped any bodies.
Intact.

Homeless man in Walmart Alabama? The editor should be fired.

Though, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that some hard-up town in Alabama sold their naming rights for quick cash.

See, here's the thing.

This is what police are actually supposed to do. They should be spending time looking for bodies and missing persons. If we "defunded the cops" so they weren't doing all the other crazy shiat they do, they'd have the time (and probably the resources) to look for missing people.

Police are empowered to look in places for missing persons that the rest of us aren't, and they should. I'd rather they were out looking for missing people than hiding in driveways trying to catch speeders so the city council can vote themselves another raise.

There's a dead girl across the hall. Her mail has been piling up her mailbox won't close. And she's got a computer in the lobby waiting. I've told management but there it sits. At least I can't smell her.

That one was weird.

Apparently the woman entered the van AFTER it was parked. And there's no sign she died by foul play.

It's probably going to be even sadder: That she just died from illness or overdose in the van, and nobody really looked for her because she was the kind of person who could sneak into a parked van without anyone really noticing.

Among the many bizarre things that YouTube and GoFundMe and such have created is something bizarre I stumbled on the other day.

Some whackoes have invested in a boat and sonar gear and diving and salvage equipment. They are volunteering at various places around the country to go after sites near bridges and dams where vehicles are believed to have crashed over the years. Local police have zero resources, so they usually let them have at it in exchange for clearing some cases.

So they go poking around at places that are rumored to have a wreck, and they find five. Or six. And they bring them up one by one and pixelate all the gross stuff. Because they do find bodies... in one state or another. And a lot of messed up cars.

It is like magnet fishing, but with about 30,000 dollars of gear.

You know you can call for a welfare check, right? What if she wasn't dead, but had fallen? Our elderly neighbor fell last week, but someone noticed so she's in the hospital instead of the morgue.

Also, with Covid and lockdowns and people just not being around being a common thing, you know sooner or later there's gonna be a discovery of a serial killer who's used that to their advantage in a bad way.

Death from being locked in van isn't usually illness or overdose. It's dehydration. The morons left it unlocked, and it could not be opened from the inside.

Police vans that were used to transport prisoners. Also, cop car rear doors cannot be opened from the inside either.

Well, police vans wouldn't be much good if the suspected criminals could just let themselves out again at the first stoplight on the way downtown, would they?

Also see: back doors on squad cars, jail cell doors

former prisoner transport, so it was by design that the doors couldn't be opened from the inside

also, refrigerators can't be opened from the inside according to a lot of the PSAs I saw in the 80s. And LSD will make you jump out of school windows.
