Given that Biden hasn't done anything positive for Canada I'd say the boost in approval in Canada is because they only called idiots. That or actual approval of leadership is more about perception than any kind of actual achievement.

I love how they make sure to mention that this could A: change at any moment and B: that the approval of Biden's entire presidency could be affected by his Afghanistan withdrawal.  Also that TFG achieved some foreign policy wins at the end of his term, that were overshadowed by his handling of the pandemic.  What wins?  Jared's Middle East peace smokescreen?  Avoiding nuking China out of petulance?  That Afghanistan withdrawal timeline that ended up handcuffing Biden?  Maybe the 5,000 Taliban he released from prison while drawing our troops in Afghanistan down to 2,500, proving that he really doesn't understand deals, numbers, or well, anything?  Those the wins you talking about, Hill/Gallup?  Cue the Daily Show Choir singing "Go Fark Yourself".  You don't even deserve the actual video for that lazy bunch of buffalo chips.

It's mainly because Trump was such a rabid asshole that it's nice to not talk about him being rabid.

Biden is still a global and domestic asshole who has either retained or quietly reinstated some of Trump's shiattiest policies.

It's like when you have a really smart girl go through your high school who then ends up at nasa and then her mentally handicapped brother comes as a freshman and everyone at the school assembly gives him a standing ovation. That's the USA.

Now if only Biden would remove Trump's tariffs, the USA would shoot to the top of the list.

It's quite a feat that Trump pulled off.  I see the Gallup poll only goes back to 2007.  PEW had a poll of world opinion of the US that went back to the early 00s and the Bush era, back when we were invading countries, torturing people and crashing the world economy, which had him just under 30%.

Amazing that Trump pretty much matched that, without a major geopolitical event.

Anyway, nice to be above water again.  For now.

It basically said Biden's approval is at 40%, same as Obama in his first year.  Trump was at 30%.

That was really the thing that struck me whenever Trump spoke to the UN or abroad. It was so painfully obvious that he either did not realize or could not modify his speeches to an international audience. This stupid fat bastard couldn't seem to fathom that NO ONE OUTSIDE OF THE US CARES ABOUT YOUR DOMESTIC 'ACCOMPLISHMENTS'. They want to understand how the US fit into the larger world stage, and yet this fetid turd made it clear that that the only way anyone could make the US care about them under Trump was to pay up.

I was embarrassed and I am not even American.

I think the photo from the G-7 summit encapsulated Trump's relationship with the world leaders. I guess in Trumpworld that's being manly and tough.

Countries are jealous and petty when America has strong leadership.  The rest of the world loves a milquetoast America they can point and laugh at.

I'm not a Nazi or a traitor, just expressing my opinion. I voted for Larry Fine because even a dead guy could do a better job than Trump or Biden. I don't want Joe to fail but he's a disaster as President.

/Fuk Joe Biden
