Oh boy, a TV show about lawyers, how novel. They should also do a show about cops. And other people we never want to have to see in real life. Maybe doctors.

Will he fall out of the ceiling again? Will his test1cles get knotted up again? That was the kind of stuff they did on LA Law.

Let's do a quick check on Amanda Pays, is wife. Yep, still hot...

My pitch for a drama about the high stakes profession of actuarial science was rejected by every studio in town.

Well, we've got 57 year old women in the SI Swimsuit edition these days, they could be trying to pitch him as the "older leading man" type as opposed to the "grandfather in a suit" (i.e. Matlock)  we'll have to see.

Damn, she could take over the Cheviot role for a Max Headroom reboot.

And for Susan Dey, from a few years ago...

Surely I can't be the only one that thinks, "Salazar!," before L.A. Law or Major League.

He was available?  I'm surprised, what with his other career opportunities. "Major League V, Korean Baseball Calls" isn't going to cast itself.

Well he was in eight seasons of Psych with the third Psych TV movie coming out this year. So it's not like he lives in a refrigerator box. And mad props to him for going bald gracefully and not wearing a ridiculous piece.

Hey now, they've already done a movie on that, starring James Woods!  It's as terrible as you'd expect.

They make every new actuary watch this movie as part of the professionalism requirements of credentialing.  I'm not joking.

And they put him in occasionally ridiculous wigs when they did flashbacks, which just added to the character

James Woods stole my idea!

Soon our TV schedule will be reboots & remakes of all 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s shows. So we will escape to the theaters to see remakes and reboots of 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s shows.

On rare occasions some kids will make something original using their iphones and post it to Youtube.

Props to him being willing to play his own character's grampa.

He's been doing a lot of those religious themed flicks in recent years (though unlike his contemporaries in the genre like Kevin Sorbo, if he is religious, he isn't a dick about it), but network TV pays a lot better. Can't blame him for taking one last shot at a big payday.
