Joe Lieberman filibustered the public option.

Then ran for national executive office as a Republican.

Recycle this f*cking book of his into unbleached bum-wipe.

I believe literally nothing you ever say.

But perhaps even the spoiled infantile mind of GWB contrived the moniker "Turd-blossom".

For the past 15 years, former U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman has never spoken publicly about the secret help that he received from Republicans Karl Rove and Elizabeth Dole to help him defeat Democrat Ned Lamont in the contentious 2006 Senate race.

That was supposed to be a secret?

If it wasn't for Lieberman we would probably have gotten a public option with Obamacare.  Just think of the thousands and thousands of people who have died from lack of healthcare over the last decade all because the absolutely vile, disgusting anthropomorphic diaper full of baby-shat that poses as a human and calls itself Joe Lieberman decided his ego and the pocketbooks of healthcare CEOs was worth sabotaging the country over.

"I admire what he's doing," Lieberman said of Manchin. "As another great Democratic leader might say, I feel Joe Manchin's pain. He's been really targeted by people in the Democratic Party, but he is fighting for the type of government that he has fought for most of his life. So they've got to accommodate him. That's the nature of the process. If they do, they'll end up in a better position to pick up Republican votes, and frankly, to do something that's more popular with a majority of the voters of the country."

Well, there it is...

And the conservatives in the Nevada Democratic party sabotaged it to try and help Republicans win when progressives took control.

That isn't going to stop the few in here that claim progressives are the ones working for Republicans.

The reason we lost the public option is because the people of Massachusetts thought the best way to get a public option was to elect Scott Brown on an explicit "kill the bill" platform.

In the primaries for Georgia's Senate races last year, Lieberman Jr got his ass beat and whined so much about it.

Warnock totally cheated, what with him being charismatic, passionate, articulate, deeply rooted to Atlanta, and actually a Democrat. The bastard.

Would we have? Really?  It's not like anyone in the party really cared to fight for it. Lieberman sucks but he was also a convenient excuse.
