At least she got a rejection letter, unlike so many others who were ghosted after applying.

My company just had their first employee ghost them.  Never showed up for their 1st day of work.

Nice to see the tables have turned.

I keep getting random emails about job opportunities for CNAs at a nursing home I applied to but never heard back from four years ago.

I'm a nurse now. And that nursing home got taken over by the state. No thank you.

Companies are scraping through their applicant databases.  I'm getting letters for jobs I applied for months and years ago but never heard from.

The shoe's on the other foot now.

I'm currently in the interview process for a new job. I applied April 23rd. I have the last step in the process on November 3rd.

Should I get offered the job, it'll easily be another month or so for the background check company to do their stuff. And likely won't get a training date until early 2022.

Thankfully I'm in a position where I haven't needed to take in a shiatty position to get by.
