....still think this was orchestrated by the Texans.  Not that what happened was any less disgusting, but Watson had to have realized that this was hanging over his head if he made a move out of Houston.

FTFA: the disgruntled QB has been making the franchise uncomfortable and trying to force their hand in trading him by showing up to the training facility.

I think we already knew the guy wasn't super-great with consent

Steelers, don't you f*cking dare give this asshole a look. I'd rather go 0-17 for 5 years than have another problematic quarterback on the team.

well if there is anyone that is an expert at forcing a hand where it doesn't want to go, it's him.

Well, I know two people that should be submitting more sports headlines...

FTA: One could say that him forcing and making people uncomfortable is the reason he has so many lawsuits against him.

Literally everyone can make these headlines. lol

I am sure there are many interested teams, however, not at the price that the Texans want.  After all, who knows about the future availability as the civil/criminal investigations go forward.  You are not going to risk a first round pick or two on a guy who may be in prison or suspended for years.  Until Houston decides to reduce their asking price, I just don't see anyone taking a risk on Watson despite his skills.

I'm still surprised nothing has come out from his time at Clemson.  Guys like this don't start this behavior overnight.

All of this PLUS, what team wants that scandal? Who would want to bring that scrutiny? And most importantly, who would want to knowingly bring a sexual predator onto their campus?

Imagine all the men who have covered for him because he could throw the ball really well.

From a strictly business standpoint why would any team risk trading for him?  What makes them think he wont continue with this behavior?

The guy definitely sounds like a sexual predator, they just cant turn that off.

Howie Roseman says hi.

(And while I'm hoping the continued rumors are just that, I can't shake the feeling that they'll actually try to weasel it anyway. Dammit, if the Eagles do actually do that, that's it. I'm done. No more NFL at all for me.)

Why would Houston tank the value of Watson?

You guys don't want a new rapist? Your old one is pretty old... Might be time to kick the tires on a newer model.
