When I saw this I assumed he played college football for Georgia. Georgia is currently ranked #1.

He played at LSU.

If you can't be good be confident, I guess.

When I saw this I assumed he attended the University of Homeschooled.

I did laugh though when he said it, which I hope was his intent.

More importantly... how f*cking bad are the Steelers that they just barely beat a Wilson-less Seahawks team that has just been terrible this year because of injuries and that defense?

Steelers are just awful. Najee Harris is awesome, though. Hopefully, he can get traded to a team with a chance.

Funny thing is, you'll find that some of the best NFL players come from teams that you've never heard of, or played on a good team when they sucked. Jamal played on LSU right before they won the whole thing. Shadow of what they are today.

Most of the good Secondary Defense players seem to come from the SEC, though. They have to. When Spurrier introduced the "fun-n-gun" if you didn't have a good secondary, you were gonna get torched every game.

Seattle could have the Watt bros. on defense, and Ken Norton, Jr. would find a way to squander their talents.

Which nation?  Haiti, Estonia, Denmark, the Duchy of Grand Fenwick?

He is unquestionably the best in the nation at having a surefire interception late in the 4th quarter bounce off his facemask.

Even Seahawks fans are getting tired of that crap. he runs around whiffing all game not doing jack shiat and cost the team a ton.

As a Seahawks fan, I can't give that a funny vote. That was painful to watch.

Two games in a row, if Adams had made a play in coverage that an average safety makes, the team would have won.

Jets fans are loving this.

I'll take this a step further and say even Harris didn't impress me much last night, except for his ability to occasionally plow forward and turn a two-yard gain into four or five yards. His longer runs were the result of line surges where the Steelers' O-line washed all the defenders out (a particularly worrying trend for the Seahawks considering the Steelers' line has none of the marquee names of recent years).

I know Harris had a big rushing game last week, but I didn't see it; I would say that his overall 3.8 ypc so far in his career is consistent with what I saw last night.

But yes, your overall point stands, i.e., that the Steelers are a team that went to OT at home against an opponent with Geno Smith and a leaky defense. They looked the part, too.

Steering back to Jamal Adams, the subject of this thread: I did comment to some friends last night that at least the Steelers' newly minted super-rich defender made plays in this game, while the Seahawks' newly minted super-rich defender, once again, did not.

What's the deal with Tomlin (and to a lesser extent Roethisberger) bagging on the refs for the end of regulation?

I agree that it was idiotic for them to review that call, but in the end all it did was leave 2 seconds on the clock instead of 1. (Seattle did spike it in time before the initial play was reviewed, and the refs WOULD have put that 1 second back on in spite of the clock running to 00).

And that fumble was clearly a fumble, even though Brady's tuck rule fumble was also clearly a fumble... but that rule is gone.

The only thing I can think of is Tomlin (like the crowd) thought the clock had expired before the spike.

I'll be honest, I almost expected some sort of weird runoff rule to just end the game right then.

/in the end they got this right
//and the better team won, because Geno Smith is about as clutch as Clutch Cargo
