If we don't work many of us will spiral out of control due to lack of structure.

The Googles Do Nothing: If we don't work many of us will spiral out of control due to lack of structure.

If lockdown taught me anything, it's that without a structured work environment, I am an incredibly lazy and disgusting lump of a person.

As long as the US remains a staunchly conservative nation that holds the puritanical beliefs of religious extremists that were so extreme they were ejected out of renaissance England, work will be needed here. Because we are so capitalist, and so focused on work as a measure of worth, that even as every other nation adopts UBI and robots take over the workforce, Americans will die in squalor and poverty because all the jobs are taken by robots, but our healthcare will remain employer based, and if you don't work you don't eat.
