Yeah, that'll work.
2002-02-17 10:16:05 AM
I just can't believe it was Farrakhan the racist that said something about it before Jesse Jackson.
And get rid of attractive and successful African-American in music.
The most double sided word in existence today only causes seperation/strife/grief between whites and blacks.
2002-02-17 10:17:10 AM
Burns: I wonder if this Farrakhan is any relation to Farkman.
Smithers: Doubt it sir the both spell and pronounce their names differently.

"Can't read Dick and Jane"

2002-02-17 10:20:26 AM
What is it when one 'Janes'?
2002-02-17 10:26:21 AM
Comeing from a man who blames jews for everyones problems I am not impressed. Also who is this old coot to tell rappers what to write about. Its not like they are educated enough to write about anything important anyway.
2002-02-17 10:28:26 AM
Yup, he has always been the voice of reason.
2002-02-17 10:29:23 AM
Who forgot the "C" in rap?
2002-02-17 10:29:24 AM
Yeah, what Turkish said. BTW, what's the time difference between the Netherlands and the US east coast; six hours?
2002-02-17 10:30:10 AM
"From the suffering of our people came rap," Farrakhan said. "That should make you a servant of those that produced you. That should make you a servant of the 'hood."

You sure this isnt satire? Hmm, okay... I guess one mislabelled headline too many will get to you.
2002-02-17 10:36:35 AM
Bongoman - indeed, 6 hours.
2002-02-17 10:37:02 AM
Bongoman, I believe 6 is correct.
2002-02-17 10:38:04 AM
Gee, Farrakhan is spreading such a fine message - you don't need rap in order to hate others!

2002-02-17 10:39:31 AM
It really doesn't matter what Farrakhan said about rappers, he had his fingers crossed the whole time.
2002-02-17 10:42:21 AM
In a related story Louis Farrakan now wants to be called L. Fark Diddy.
2002-02-17 10:42:53 AM
"More than 300 people, including rappers Boo-Yaa Tribe, Kurupt and DJ Quik..."

Man I'm sure glad they got Boo-Yahh Tribe and Kurupt to show up. They sound like artists with minds that want to change the current movement and attitude of the rap community...
2002-02-17 11:17:30 AM
Slaeyerswine, I just can't believe it was Farrakhan the racist that said something about it

You missed the real message. See, old school rap was about hating whitey and killin da POHlice. He's just upset that the original "pure" vision has been lost.

FARRAKHAN, from the several hundred thousand man march: "Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president. Thomas Jefferson, the third president, and 16 and three make 19 again. What is so deep about this number 19? Why are we standing on the Capitol steps today? That number 19 -- when you have a nine you have a womb that is pregnant. And when you have a one standing by the nine, it means that there's something secret that has to be unfolded."

What a silly psycho racist.
2002-02-17 11:18:37 AM
Fark the police coming straight from the underground, a young nubian got it bad cuz I'm brown and not the other color so the police think they have the authority to kill a minority...
2002-02-17 11:27:42 AM
I don't get what the big problem is. Doesn't anyone think it might actually be GOOD that they're encouraging a positive development in hip-hop culture?
The man has a point. Check out Nas. The man is smart enough to deliver some social commentary now and then (the song "What Goes Around" is great), but he'll destroy the integrity of that by wasting time "beefing" with Jay-Z etc.
There's actually been quite a development of non-violent hip-hop, but it remains on the indie and underground levels, more or less. Folks like Mos Def, Del the Funky Homosapien, Jurrasic 5, Last Emperor, etc... they're talented and socially conscious.
What you think of Farakhan aside, this is a positive message and I'm glad that SOMEONE notable is saying it.
2002-02-17 11:34:21 AM
Metaphysix: The point is - right message, wrong messenger.

Del the Funky Homosapien - awesome name.
2002-02-17 11:44:08 AM
METAPHYZIX- Yea I agree man. Rap should change, there is also plenty of meaningful rap music out there. Ghost Face Killa, Killa Priest, and other's actually make you think about shiat. Anything from how hard it is to grow up in the hood to the Holacaust. Today's Rap music blows all of todays rock music out the water. I'm sick of hearing shiat like Linkin Park and Staind and so forth being the most popular Rock Music out there. Rock N Roll recently died within the last 4 years or so, and Rap is the only true form of popular music left.
2002-02-17 11:48:56 AM
Doesn't anyone think it might actually be GOOD
* shrug *, not really.
Homicide is the #1 cause of death in the black population. It's the only thing keeping them from outpopulating cockroaches, besides HIV.

Okay, NOW I can be accused of trolling.

Besides, hip-hop is by blacks, for blacks, of which I am not one.
Chef: "Haven't you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"
General: "I don't listen to hip-hop."

To more or less seriously answer the question, Farrakhan has had an unswerving anti-white, anti-Jew agenda he has hardly held from being public. He is a blatant, shameless racist. His version of "cleaned up" lyrics will reflect that. Always look to the motives not the words. Farrakhan, Jackson, Sharpton; none of them care about anything but power, and they use their own people to get it.

When Joe Clark becomes a black leader my ridicule will finally be misplaced.
2002-02-17 11:51:36 AM
I'm sorry, but "Rap" and "Music" should not be used in the same sentence. Reading a poem to a beat is not necessarily music.
2002-02-17 11:56:46 AM
Farrakhan once admitted to being abducted by aliens when he was in Mexico and receiving "a vision" while on board their space ship.

Can they please come back and get him?

Does Massive Attack count? Those guys rock.
2002-02-17 12:21:40 PM
Yo my name is Farrakhan and I'm here to say
All you rappers don't be using bad lyrics today
You rappin bout women and homos and jews
I got no beef with that, but here's the big news
Talkin bad about brothers, that ain't no good
Don't talk about that, you a servant of the hood

*creative energies sapped, /me goes back to bed... continue at your own risk*
2002-02-17 12:47:01 PM
This is a time when, more than ever, America needs
the guidance of a new album from Biz Markie.
2002-02-17 12:52:10 PM
"From the suffering of our people came rap," Farrakhan said."
What the fuk ever. I wish I had this cocksmokers phone number. I'd like to ask him why the attractive and successful African-American in the AZ pen wrote a rap song about killing my best friends brother down in Phoenix. Farrakhan is so full of shiat.

He was a cab driver and picked up this fare, last one ever. They found him with 3 shots to the head, face down. Appeared to be a gang initiation. Even had this nigs foot print on his back. While in prison, he was writing a rap song about killing him, even tried to plea not gulty, with lyrics in hand.

2002-02-17 01:14:28 PM
Cowsong: Wow that was really long. Too bad I didn't read it.
2002-02-17 01:16:06 PM
I didn't read the whole thing either actually
2002-02-17 01:16:43 PM
Anything that is longer than a paragraph -link it.
2002-02-17 01:18:35 PM
huh? how come "JFK jr interviews Farakhan" got mod'ed?

explanation anyone? thought it was interesting....
2002-02-17 01:18:36 PM
Batmn42, AHAHAHAHA! Nice work!

Vegasj, while I sympathize with your pain, I don't like calling them that any more than I like blacks who consider themselves "african" before American. Don't hate the color, hate the behavior and the groups that support it. The most awful thing you can call somebody is
"liberal" because they are the ones that keep blacks dependent on government and allow our legal system to make victims of the criminals and criminals of the victims. Hate the liberals, not the blacks.

That having been said, here is my basic thought on all rappers and rapper causes:
[image from deeplight.net too old to be available]
And, no, this isn't to stir up a flamewar.

My first time image posting. Hope it worked.
2002-02-17 01:19:38 PM
like I said - the article was old... I got that from years back... there's no link. sorry-
2002-02-17 01:19:49 PM
Damn. I got the image but forgot to close the bold tag.
2002-02-17 01:42:29 PM
fark Farra Fawcet or whoever said to stop rapping violent.

IN FACT - my next song is gonna be called "fark Farra Fawcet, I'm Violent!"
2002-02-17 01:49:35 PM
I hope this clears things up....

Farrakhan described to Washington Post reporters his experience being taken aboard a UFO while he was in Mexico."I was transported by a small, circular plane-you call it a UFO-to a great mother wheel. Before you call me crazy, these wheels will be seen all over America. They'll be coming down over the major cities. You will look up one day and see them, and I don't want you to be terrified. They're your friends black man." Farrakhan explained that these UFO's will represent a new city coming down from heaven - a New Jerusalem. (Matthew 24:5,11,24)

Farrakhan said he met with Nation of Islam Prophet and Founder Elijah Muhammad (who was at the time dead), Moses, Jesus, etc. They reassured Farrakhan of his righteous mission, and gave him advance information about a pending U. S. air strike against Libyan leader Moammar Q.

Farrakhan's inspiration for the "Million Man March" is based on his alleged vision of being swept into a UFO that took him to a larger mothership. (The Washington Post, Sept. 18, 1995, p. D3).

Farrakhan has repeated this doctrine for more than 35 years. Indeed, Farrakhan's UFO vision is an inseparable, doctrinal link to the heretical claims of Elijah Muhammad. Elijah explained that blacks were originally, "moon people" and that the UFO "mother wheel" was piloted by 13 youths who perpetually orbited the earth, waiting to unleash global destruction on whites, while rescuing all blacks.

Farrakhan also blasted the producers of "Independence Day" in his paper "The Final Call", claiming they rewrote a 1965 prophecy by Nation of Islam founder Elijah Muhammed to the effect that space ships will one day descend from a "Mother Plane" in high earth orbit built by Africans in 1929.

Oh and let me be the first to say, fark Faulkner. Cops choose to be cops. You don't wanna get shot, be a farking baker.

and... Odietamo, please, don't post anymore. Yer beyond ignorant.
Go fark a man.
You republican retard.
2002-02-17 01:54:12 PM
Well, I just lost even more respect for him, AstroCat.
2002-02-17 02:13:06 PM
Glad to see that I'm not the only person not willing to let the black community at large hide behind the liberal's collective skirt. Don't see why the democrats are so out to protect a demographic that has a max of an 11% voter turnout in urban areas. That's even lower than my old illiterate town in Texas. And every other race does have problems, but we own up to it, and don't blame every other race for them.
2002-02-17 02:41:03 PM
Astrocat, dude, you're nuts but you kill me.

Sin from 3k, I hope you tell the cop who is saving your life one day how you feel. You piece of shiat.

"Yer beyond ignorant.
Go fark a man."

The spelling and words of true genius.

And. BTW, I'm not Republican you ignorant dumbfark.

SnizzleBizzle, because they are loud, distracting from real issues. Got a problem? Hide behind a black. PC causeheads swarm on anyone who gets near the black man, screaming "racist". And because they are breeding like crazy and dependent on the government. Dems want big government and a voter pool who remain ignorant and devoted to them. Think of it as an investment in their future. Keep blacks blaming Republicans while keeping them ignorant and dependent. It's brilliant really.
2002-02-17 02:43:17 PM
Hey Louey how about this one?

2002-02-17 02:47:27 PM
Smack Johnson: Rap is the only form of music left?...

Are you sure that heroin problem hasn't rotted your brain? You sound like another tragic victim of urban decay or one seriously bent attractive and successful Caucasian-American.
2002-02-17 03:04:37 PM

True, Staind and Linkin Park do indeed suck. but I'd rather listen to them than some dumbass talking over a PlaySkool keyboard beat...

Rap is where you go if you can't write music or if you write like an illiterate Dr. Seuss...
2002-02-17 03:15:43 PM
02-17-02 02:41:03 PM Odietamo
"Astrocat, dude, you're nuts but you kill me."

I didn't say that, the Washington Post did.

As a UFO conspiracy theorist, I thought it was amusing.
2002-02-17 03:18:02 PM
I find it odd that someone who hates Jews also brags about getting a go-ahead of his mission from Moses and Jesus...
2002-02-17 03:49:33 PM
I thought the headline said "Farkistan."

2002-02-17 03:58:27 PM

The funny thing is that everyone who hates rap, sucks at rapping, can't rap for shiat, nor can they write the "PlaySkool" beats you're talking about.

If you ignore rap because you think it's easy, or a lower-form of art, yer a god damn fool.
2002-02-17 04:03:12 PM

That is the site where you can hear ME rap.

I challenge YOU to write a rap song, you cock-nosed gimp.

"Rap is where you go if you can't write music or if you write like an illiterate Dr. Seuss..."

I guarantee you cannot write rap music. Your statement is farking ignorant as shiat. Oh and while I'm at it, you don't know shiat about "Rock N' Roll" either. Linkin Park is NOT farking Rock And Roll. They're a Rap/Rock Hybrid that was created by the same people who made NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. They're a joke. The only reason you hear them on the radio, is because their producer knows how to write pop-melodies for rap/rock music. Yawn. I been doing that since age 8.
