Yeah, old school casually bigoted Irish jokes with two protagonists used to be "Paddy and Mick" jokes. The American Irish diaspora are often called "plastic Paddies" for claiming to be Irish without knowing much about Ireland.

I direct "Paddy" at an actual person on the regular though.

/Because it's my bro's name.
