Trying to walk toward the huddle, Jones stumbled a bit. This made it seem like a long shot for him to be ready a week later.

Not too long ago, maybe a couple of years ago, I watched a video of a Seahawks-Patriots game from the 80s. Late in the game, the Patriots had the ball, and the play-by-play guy said "Stanley Morgan is back on the field. He left in the first quarter with a mild concussion, and he deserves a big round of applause for getting back out there." How times have changed. (For the better, it should go without saying; this was shocking to my modern ears.)

There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's own career in the face of playing for a bad team that really was bad was the process of a rational mind. Jones was concussed and could be traded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be concussed and would have to keep playing for the giants. jones would have to be concussed to keep playing for the giants and fine if he didn't, but if he was fine, he had to play for them. If he kept playing for them, he was concussed and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to, he was fine and had to.

No matter where he goes, the turf monster will be waiting for him.

No matter where he goes, the turf monster will be waiting for him.

Maybe he's just that neurological disease that cats get where they can't walk right.

A real team would have no need for him.   He's a moderate talent, no more.  Another example that you draft point guards out of Duke, not QBs.

Horse apiece. A real team would never trade for Daniel Jones.
