How stupid do they think we are?

They don't give a shiat how stupid we are. They lie. They know that if he had Trump's support and he is as fascist as Trump, he'll get the nomination.  They know if he has an R after his name in the general, those f*cking rubes will vote for him. It doesn't matter that he's black, he's being as obnoxious, inflammatory, and right wing as Trump. That's all that matters.

This is where we are.

In the '30s, the Nazi Party in Germany was enthusiastically liked by Wall Street businessmen and American conservatives because Hitler was 'tough on communism'.

I only partly agree with you.....I do think they believe we the public, are stupid, and gullible to boot.  And they are right....

He has a point.  It's an incredibly stupid point, but it's a point.  When I saw that image, my first thought was 'swastika'.  My second was 'swastika made up of needles'.  And then my third thought was 'oh god this farking idjit is comparing having to get vaccinated to Nazi Germany.'

So, I mean, he has a point, and that is that he thinks the real problem with the Nazis was in how controlling their central government was rather than how much blood they spilled and how many people they enslaved/imprisoned.  So, to reiterate:  It's in incredibly stupid point.  And, to emphasize, it's an incredibly stupid point from an incredibly stupid person.

Neither the Nazis, the Empire of Japan, nor the Italians thought the US were Nazis during WW2.  Neither the Soviets during the Cold War, nor the current Russian regime, nor the current Chinese government say the US are Nazis, Japanese, nor Koreans are Nazis.  Neither the South Koreans, nor the North Koreans have called each other Nazis.

your point is stupid and you should feel bad for saying it publicly.

Well, let's examine that.  The right wing in the US has fundementally turned away from their core values to an ethnocentric populism emphasizing faux traditional American values such as being white, evangelical protestant, poorly educated rural and closed minded.  Much of that has been done through innuendo and 'dog whistles' but is becoming far more blatant.  The centre and left wing in your country have pointed out the obvious and striking parallels to the evolution of the pre war Nazis as well as the Italian facsists.  They correctly label them as Nazis and many on the right seem willing to embrace that.  For public consumption however, the right have developed the 'No, you!' strategy.  They don't actually believe that.  It's 'night and fog' or FUD to muddy the waters and cause doubt. As you have attempted here.

You Know Who Else Opposed Vaccine Mandates? Hitler.

Contrary to claims about "fascist" vaccine mandates currently circulating on the Right, the Nazis actually relaxed German vaccine mandates - and hoped doing the same for people they conquered would kill them faster.

I guess it's a good thing we have a political party that's "tough on communism" then.  Anything to keep our corporate stockholders happy.

Next, you should do the bit where you point out that the American fascist right can't be actual Nazis because the historical Nazi party of Germany was forcibly disbanded after World War 2.  That's hilarious!

Smarted.

Also, when the RWNJ are *literally* flying Trump, Nazi, AND Confederate flags together at the same rally... kind of hard to Not draw a parallel between them.
