I was rooting for an asteroid to hit the stadium, but people bragging about Brady beating a vastly inferior team via missed field is probably the most hilarious outcome.

The team is called the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, not Tom Brady. Although if you want Richard Sherman, even pirates should have their limits.

New England covered, which is really all that's important here.

Is that why she lost all that weight?

I think it was shown to be pretty clear to a national audience last night that a certain somebody has reached the final days of his storied career and needs to plan for retirement sooner rather than later. There were plays last night that would have been easy to complete earlier in his career that were completely mishandled, leaving the viewer at home to wonder just what the heck he was thinking he saw. And his supporting cast, always sort of downplayed as not being good enough for a Hall of Fame talent like him, only makes those mistakes look even worse when he tried to offer support.

We've been spoiled by him for as long as some of us can remember, where you can't see his name without thinking "championships". And yes, there is no doubt he still can be the best in the business for fleeting moments and I know a lot of people love him, but overall I think we need to realize that Al Michaels isn't what he used to be.

Man, I disagree. I'm not thrilled with my place in life in my 50+ years, but when I hear Al, it's like a nice warm bath from Mom.

On a positive note.
The Patriots had no running game and their rookie QB came very close to beating Brady with high priced players all around him.

The future looks bright.

The Patriots didn't win and I guess I'm ok with that. The two things I really wanted did happen:  Jones played very well, and Brady had zero TDs.

Actually, one point to make about Brady not having any TDs: I think that fact bothered him and it almost cost them the game. The Bucs were at the Patriots 30. They should have gone for the short yardage plays for a first down, control of the clock for the remainder of the game, and a chip-shot field goal to win with seconds left. Instead, Brady goes deep twice in a row to the end zone. I think it was his ego calling the plays there.

I went to a bar last night with a friend.  Mind you, I'm in Steelers Country.  Everyone there said that while they're certainly no fans of Bill Belichick, they absolutely despise Brady.  More than one person said it felt weird rooting for the Patriots.  And when they deployed the friggin' Philly Special, that entire bar cheered.

I live in the Greater Buffalo area and I'm still not sure why Brady gets all of the hate that he does. To some extent I'm just disappointed that due to the fact that his time at the Patriots they were caught flagrantly cheating multiple times you just have to imagine how many other times they tried to cheat and got away with it. Considering that I have trouble objectively enjoying some of the best football ever played.

/I do despise Gronkowski and how he acts like a psychotic school bully from an 80s movie, though

It's not Tom Brady's fault that the Steelers used the same defense on him EVERY SINGLE TIME. Of course he's going to start picking it apart. The fans shouldn't be mad at Brady, they should be mad that the HC and DC are completely unable to game plan something different.

$2 cheesesteaks will elicit cheers from any bar full of druken patrons.
