I wouldn't need payment, just give me the number to call.

What about $200,000 worth of Flamin' Hot Cheetos?

2021-10-03 2:18:46 PM
If I worked in healthcare, $0, f*ck the plauge rats.

Plague rats are free to be unemployed

You wouldn't have pay me, but if you're looking to unload $200k per name, I'll be happily retired next week.

The pleasure of watching them walk out carrying all their shiat in a box, escorted by security.

Jesus Kreist, THIS.  If it's $200K per name... how much time ya' got?  Even if it's $200K once, I'll take it.  Win-win, IMHO.

I'd do it for a sandwich.

Actually, I'd do it for free. I'm just hungry, and a sandwich would be nice.

I've decided that downtown hole-in-the-wall mom and pop sandwich shops are national treasures

Our organization did a survey with several Covid/return-to-office questions. One was "should proof of vaccination be required before being allowed to return the office" and the response was something like 87% in favor. And that was like three months ago, so it's probably even higher now that there are no availability/timing excuses. We have a lot of work to do, people are ready to get back to doing it and they have zero farks to give anymore about those who stand in the way.

What about their freedom to make other people sick?

2021-10-03 4:08:26 PM
I'll take the 200k

But hell, do it for free, and if you threw in a bag of vending machine cashews I would look for people to out

Hmm, I did get the OSHA 30 cert sometime back, may need to see if it might help in job hunting now( sure as fark hasn't since I got it, but hey, got it for free through the job center)

I'd pay $50, and take out the garbage.

I'm at a point where if the hotline required a $5 credit card payment to ensure that it wasn't being abused I'd be willing to spend the cash.

I wouldn't. I didn't grow up wanting to be a snitch.

2021-10-03 5:50:11 PM
Nothing. I'd do it for the sheer health and safety of it. Also the pleasure. They don't have the right to spew covid filth all over the office and potentially kill someone. fark their feelings. Plague rats don't deserve employment.

The cheddar jalapeño ones are better.

Also, I'd do it for free. Report unvaccinated people, I mean.

Depends. Do I like them or not, and would I have to do more work if they weren't here?

I'd do it just to see the look on their face. And to tell them that it was me. I sent them up the river.

This is sad even for Fark. You realize this is the equivalent of selling out a Jewish girl hiding in an attic in occupied Belgium, don't you?  Exactly the same!  You're all monsters.

fark, I'll give the company $100 to report a vaxxhole if they'll do something about it.

Uh, how would you know if they're not vaccinated?  They know they're lepers--they'll keep it to themselves, and their fellow anti-vax friends.

I would communicate about anyone who was endangering me or my team. I would feel better about doing it with no compensation. 200k would get me into a better neighborhood though. That would be difficult to pass up.

This.

An unvaccinated co-worker in my space? He'd be lucky that's all that happened to him.

Anyone who equates not being allowed to go and spread a deadly disease (for which there is a farking vaccine!) to rounding people up because of their race or religion to be killed is either arguing in bad faith, or a farking moron. Take your pick

My workplace is "don't ask, don't tell" so I'll have to take the $200k since I may lose my job for asking.

/not really, there was no consequence offered for asking or telling.

I would not report an unvaccinated coworker for any amount of money. I would privately judge them to be a bit stupid though.

until when?

Supposedly my coworkers have had to report themselves and ask for an exemption.  Somehow I doubt that everyone did.

Employees are required to send proof of vaccination before returning to the office, which will be verified.

Three things will happen:

1) Verification succeeds? Welcome back, be careful.

2) Verification fails? Termination, with no unemployment benefits (in most States).

3) No proof on file? Weekly testing, masking and social distance until vaccination or the emergency is over. Termination if non-compliant.

proteus_b: I would not report an unvaccinated coworker for any amount of money. I would privately judge them to be a bit stupid though.

I would like extra money, but I won't sell someone out for it - that's crossing a line I don't want to cross.

Reporting someone for a health and safety violation is part of my job, and I will do that without hesitation, doubly so when it isn't accidental.

I won't accept a bounty for it, but I also will report someone if it comes down to it

So glad we have "vaccine passports" for almost everything worth doing now - no need to even ask someone if they are vaccinated - if they can get into a restaurant, gym, arena, or really any other type of venue.... if they can get into the building at work... they have a verified vaccination

2021-10-04 8:39:11 AM
I wish I worked at a place that had a vaccine mandate.  I'd happily call, free of charge.  Saving lives is payment enough.

2021-10-04 11:17:08 AM
I work remotely.  Unless this can be transmitted through the wires, (not unheard of with Internet Exploder) It matters not to me.  I would value my coworkers relationships with me over their health...until we have to go back to an office.

At that point, it becomes my safety they're putting at risk, and I would report them in a hot minute if I find they haven't had their shot. Pay me or not...don't care.  If they're going to risk my life and the lives of those around me just because they think it'll make them magnetic to non-ferrous metals, They don't deserve my friendship.
