Wait, you can EAT corona virus?

I must have advanced civilisations in my nasal bacteria. My wife caught the 'rona early on and I didn't. At least 8 of our friends have since caught it, and I was hanging out with a few of them when they would have been infectious.

I think that the virus just takes a look and, like you would looking at a slum tenement when apartment hunting, just says 'Nope, not living there!' and moves on

i think the status of your health/immune system is critical with covid or any other virus.  the only thing that can deactivate a virus is the immune system.  all vaccines do is give the immune system a heads up.  a BOLO if you will.

otherwise the common cold would have been cured decades ago.

the TV folks don't seem to stress how important being fit and healthy is when it comes to viruses (or bacteria either)

the CDC considers obesity an underlying health condition.  they said 31% of americans are obese.

covid has a animal reservoir so it will always be around.  if it was human only then it could be eradicated over time.

Well, it's either that or the military multi-vaccination I had at age 2 when my dad was in the forces to prepare for going abroad (which for some reason meant that at age 13 when everyone else in the class got called to get vaccinated against rubella etc, I was not called).

My fitness level is somewhere close to zero. I am certainly not avoiding illness by being fit.

Lately, I have restarted the gym and exercise, but for most of the pandemic I was hugely unfit and still didn't catch it.
