It's not so much about confirming it but to quantify it.

It seems like this was more about the efficacy of naltrexone than just the smoking connection.  If it works out, then that means alcoholics won't load up on carbs to fill the void either.

I smoked up to two packs a day for the first 11 years of my life. It was really awesome when I got away from my mother and my dad quit. To this day I get a bit of a sweet rush when someone lights up near me. Then the ash scent hits me and I'm done.

Oh, and yeah, I'm definitely fat and crave junk food constantly.

I only bought junk food when I went to the corner store to get a tin of chew. Now that I quit chewing I have stopped buying soda pop and chips, too. I'm saving about $1200 - 1400 / month lmao it's great.

Convenience stores are mines for poor impulse control.   They're worse than casinos.  At least with a casino, you know they're trying to make you do bad things.

The plural of anecdote is not data.

when I quit after 15 years (pack and a half a day - started when I was 19 and hanging out with 'friends') I ate bulk chocolate bridge mix for the entire weekend as I rocked back and forth on the couch.. must've downed 4 or 5 pounds of it.

/weaned myself off the chocolate
//stayed a quitter for 17 years now
///yeah, yeah, csb:)
////gotta get my dopamine somehow.
