Trump, naturally, responded by savaging Graham

Did Graham pay extra for that?

After vowing earlier this year to tangle with Trump if necessary to nominate electable GOP candidates in must-win Senate primaries, the Senate minority leader is tacitly blessing many of Trump's endorsements.

McConnell understands that being one of Trumps very best people is the only electability trait Republicans have left.

2021-09-24 12:47:14 PM
Asked about Brooks, a conservative firebrand who has antagonized party leaders for years, McConnell replied: "He's a Republican, isn't he? The magic number is 51."

Say what you want about McConnell, because he's a giant piece of shiat. That quote right there though, shows why the republican agenda gets passed while the Democrats run around like a 3 stooges skit screeching about this particular policy or that particular policy. Republican voters get it too. That's why we'll have a conservative Supreme Court for the rest of my life. It'd be nice if Democratic voters could string together a couple consecutive elections with that in mind.

Or not. Let's just bicker for a year or 3 and turn the whole shebang back over to Mitch and the gang.

Herschel is going to run over Yertle...

Hershel Walker fumbled 2 STRAIGHT kickoff returns, in a playoff game for the Vikes.  Fark him, and the hype he rode in on.

That's it.
Now the name is NOT the GOP.

Now the name is the GRIFT.

The same worthless trash who complain about Obama being a celebrity, and athletes having political opinions, will like you to know that they support know-nothing football coaches and players in the US senate as long as these are endorsed by a reality tv star.

Huh.  Wonder what Trump has on Yertle.

Johnny Walker inconsolable.

"There are some things written that indicate he's had some challenges in his life. On the other hand, the good news is, he's made several impressive performances on national television."

He continued. "Did you see that 84 yard touchdown against the Eagles back in 1986? That was really something."

To paraphrase LurkLongandProsper, R's don't give a shiat about being hypocritical because they don't suffer cognitive dissonance, unlike D's. If Walker is the one they feel that will get the rubes from the GA sticks to come out and vote, they will whole heartedly back him next year.

The reason the republican agenda gets passed is that they don't have much of an agenda beyond "stack the courts". I don't know if you remember but other than the tax cut they didn't get any meaningful legislative achievements when they were in power.

Vote for the candidate you want in the primaries (not the one with the most "electability" because you don't know what that is).

Vote for the Dem in the general

It's that simple.

I am still fairly high that Warnock will win.  But we will see.  This feel like another huge Trump loss is coming.

Fix the rigged system wherein the majority vote doesn't matter and poof, problem solved.

He's a R, right?  Well, I think Adolf Hitler will be a fine representative the Jewish community in Brighton Beach.  Sounds like he wants to revitalize the area with some  camp programs.  Who doesn't like camping?  The number is 51.  With 51, I'm back in front and the grifting really starts flowing flowing again.

I sometimes forget that as much kompromat as Russia has on Trump, China also most likely has similar blackmail material on Elaine Chao's elderly, watery-eyed old husband who is apparently the uncontested Emperor of the Senate until he finally dies.

Ha ha ha ha ha! American democracy ROCKS!

My gut tells me that suburban GOP voters who abandoned Trump will do so again with Walker because WTF is his qualification to be a Senator, coupled with the fact that he doesn't even live in the state. I don't think they vote for Warnock - they just skip voting in this race. It's also hard to see Walker running up the numbers like Trump did in rural counties. And as times goes on, the demographics keep getting better and better for Democrats.

Hershel Walker isn't from Georgia. OK, so he played for Georgia decades ago. Georgia's, and specifically Georgia fans, Aren't going to buy anything he's selling unless part of his platform is SEC referee reform and doing something about this ridiculous goddamn season

Two days ago, when referencing the debt ceiling McConnell chastised those across the aisle with the line that they shouldn't "play Russian Roulette with the economy".  Now he pals around with an ex-NFL star who has literally played Russian Roulette.

This is how a nation can identify you, Yertle, as a less than serious person.

Well, yeah, the demographics get better for the Democrats, they aren't using horse dewormer to treat COVID pneumonia complications.

Please please let there be debates between Warnock and Walker. Hersey is a certifiable loon that with a couple of trigger words will have a meltdown on stage.

McConnel has always considered himself Georgia's third senator.  He even runs adds for Republicans in Georgia, where he talks about how us Georgians shouldn't let outsiders tell us how to run our elections.  He doesn't see the irony in this, because in his mind he is not an outsider.  Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually owns property in Georgia still, after all these decades, and if he spends more time here than he does in Kentucky.

What you really have to ask is why Kentucky wants to be represented by an outsider, when they could elect a local boy who is one of them.  That's normally a big deal in Kentucky, and with outsiders, but the rule does not seem to apply to McConnel.

The only thing I want from Walker is for someone to study him. He says he never lifts weights and only does body weight exercises and running. For food he only eats one meal a day consisting of bread, soup, salad and water. He claims to have done the same thing for like 35 years.

Here he is in his 50's.

He can. Walker doesn't know the ropes. His only chance is with the turtle pulling his strings.
