So, like HCQ, it's effectiveness against Covid is non-existent and a bunch of hooey?   Shocked! Shocked am I!

Right now, in many places across the country, ICUs are overflowing with COVID patients. The doctors who are in charge of these ICUs are no doubt tired of that being the situation, and probably desperate for anything that might assist them in keeping COVID patients from needing to be put in the ICU.

If Ivermectin treatment had any solid evidence of efficacy, either as a prophylactic or straight-up cure for COVID-related ailments, don't you think they'd be the first ones calling for it to be used more frequently? Or pressuring the CDC to recommend its use for treating/preventing COVID?

//Oh right, they're all owned by the Bill Gates microchipping foundation for magnetizing arms

That's so last week. Now it's spraying iodine up your nose and nebulizing hydrogen peroxide.

I know someone who is (or was) taking Ivermectin.

Meh, whatever.  Take whatever you want.  At least he's taking the version that's formulated for human beings and not farm animals.

Nebulizing hydrogen peroxide?

Wow...  Just wow...  I don't know what I'm more surprised with, the fact these idiots are nebulizing hydrogen peroxide or the fact they managed to actually stun me with their stupidity after the amount of stupidity they've demonstrated so far.

Think about the means by which your body or an effective drug would suppress a relatively complex life form like intestinal worms.
Now think about the biochemical mechanisms by which your immune system or an effective antiviral would suppress an invasive virus.
Then use your f**king common sense.
You don't need a scientist to tell you horse paste won't cure a virus.
If it actually did, it would be a medical miracle requiring TONS of extraordinary proof.

Makes it hard to trust the science when the science is poor quality and/or fraudulent.

They're not. Parking lots are not full (because of course if you are choking to death on your own rotting lung tissue, you're going to hop in your car and drive yourself to the ER) and those people crowding the ICU that isn't full are crisis actors. The Scamdemic is fake which is why they don't want you taking Ivermectin which is the only thing saving you from deadly COVID which has a lower fatality rate than the common cold. Plus the hospital gets money for each person who dies of the not very deadly COVID so if you have asymptomatic COVID but a horrible lung infection and a clotting disorder and a cardiac disorder that has nothing to do with COVID that isn't deadly at all except to your 97 year old diabetic grandma, they are going to say you died of COVID to get the cash. Sheeple.

The nebulizing hydrogen peroxide thing might actually prevent COVID. I mean once you destroyed your lungs there's nothing for COVID to infect, right?

I tried a similar approach with the "Vaccine alters your DNA crowd." Asking them if they understood how amazing it would be if two shots in the arm could alter your DNA? How many genetic diseases would be cured through this method?

there are plenty of viruses that change your DNA that can be injected, and this is an avenue for gene therapy that's being pursued pretty heavily. obviously making the changes useful is tougher, but this is how things already work

I would listen to these... science talking people... but no! The only cure for COVID is SH*TTING ROPES!

A friend of mine is convinced that "they" are keeping down the truth about ivermectin. It's a real bummer that he can't see through Joe freaking Rogan's BS.

lot of complete BS gets published out of Africa & the near east, parts of South America, and the Indian & SE Asian subcontinents. Take publications coming out of there with a massive grain of salt. Lotta crap and/or outright falsified work from a lot of scientists on shoestrings pretty desperate to get noticed.

It's not worthless you moron. HCQ actively makes your chances of surviving covid worse.

They cured color blindness in monkeys doing that. They even hypothesized that they could create new cones sensitive to different wavelengths to form. Imagine seeing brand new colors.
