Because Zion can actually ball and isn't just an almost 7' Markelle Fultz.

Welcome to New York, Zion.

Move em to Seattle, no one cares about the Pelicans.

I see a way to fix both problems at one time.....

Bonus: you can sell the Pelicans on Ben's regular-season stats and performance, since they won't have to worry about Playoff Ben.

FTA: Zion Williamson is expected to become the star of the New Orleans Pelicans in a couple of years.

A couple years? I, uh...I think he's already there.

I mean...Simmons buried his own reputation with that putrid show in Game 7 last season.

Someone's going to try to trade for him because they'll convince themselves that they can fulfill the potential that Simmons has but...fark, he hasn't shown one level of IGAF since his days at LSU.

If he's willing to be a 3rd guy then he will do well, he is a great defensive player. Golden State would be perfect for him, but those talks have definitely stalled.

With Andrew Wiggins refusing the get vaccinated and the city of SF requiring the players to be even to practice, let alone play, maybe there will be movement again.

Who else could they trade? Wiggins wouldn't be enough I think.

Griffin is a terrible GM.  Without LeBron in charge, he has no idea what he is doing.  Zion might be the first player to turn down a rookie max extension just so he can gtfo as soon as possible.

That's a fair point, now that I think about it more I agree with you. There would probably have to be a third team that is rebuilding included to get anything done, however I don't really see that happening. Sixers and Warriors fans should both be pretty frustrated by these situations.

So I actually tried the trade simulator on espn and it said a straight up trade of the two would be successful (which I still agree isn't necessarily feasible), and it would lower both teams projected win totals by 3, lol.

At some point, there's gonna be a kid, maybe he's European or moved to Europe and played pro ball since before he hit puberty, who's gonna say "draft? Fark your amateur draft, I wanna sign w/ the Lakers." I mean, what are the procedures for this? Just wait the clock out until he's 25 or something? 30?

A better question: is Arch Manning gonna do what his Uncle Eli did and just say "fark your draft, trade me."

I'd love to see it happen just to see how pissed off Embiid gets when he realizes that a frozen, shot-fearing Simmons is still ten times the player Wiggins is.

Seriously. That dude is a gutless f*cking turd on both ends of the floor.

This. Simmons is an all NBA defender and a very good passer and ball handler. Wiggins is not good at anything but looking like an NBA player.

I think Simmons for Green would be an interesting trade.

Per NBA bylaws, any player that wants to play in the NBA must make themselves available in the draft.  Doesn't matter where they are from or what their age.  If they go undrafted, they would, with some restrictions, then be free to sign a free agent contract with whoever they want.

Re:Williams tantrum

He needed to rehab and build up slowly while dropping some weight. If he did it his way, he would most likely end up like Odin or at best, Durant. I get wanting to play, but you have got to take care of your legs and feet. Don't rush the process!

Even bulking up quickly has a downside. More mass stress on the joints and connective tissues that need longer to catch up to the muscle increases. Look at how many more "buff" athletes are tearing ligaments, tendons, or muscles right off the bone these days. The muscles are overpowering everything else in the drive to put on mass and strength quickly to get the superstar status.

/Better invest or save those BIG paychecks for when you are blown out at 30.

He hasn't given a fark since his last day at LSU when the Tigers played their worst game of their entire season getting crushed in the SEC tournament by 33 points to a Texas A&M team.  Not only did Simmon's Tigers play their worst game of the season, they scored the lowest amount of points for ANY Division 1 team for the entirety of 2016.

The final of Ben Simmons last college game? 71-38

Does Zion still walk and run knock-kneed?

With that weight, he's gonna blow out his knees within a few years unless he corrects his stance.

So to recap: the warriors want to get rid of a anti vaxxers in lieu of someone who literally won't accept a shot, no matter how easy it is?

I don't think that's particularly correctable after early childhood. Strangely enough, Brent Jones had a career of decent length as an NFL tight end with legs that looked like that. Toradol is good shiat, I guess. So who knows?

The Warriors have other people who can shoot. By being an antivax cretin, Wiggins has ensured that he will neither be available for practices nor any home games due to SF's vaccination ordinance . If I were the Warriors GM, and I could get Simmons for Wiggins straight up, I guess I'd have to do it. As they say, availability is your best ability

The only thing this team has ever been really great at is letting star players slip away to other teams.  They might be the best at it.

Sigh it wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

But also I'm not sure Simmons is vaxxed either. Last time it even came up, Simmons had to quarantine because of contact a barber who had COVID.

The funniest thing about this post is the idea that New York is somewhere NBA free agents want to go.
