Is that total mass?  Length? Bra size?

That's like 50 London city busses!

That's small enough to be essentially 'harmless' on reasonable scales.  It could level a decent-sized city though, so you don't want to be near where it comes down... but it's not going to end civilization or anything.

Volume-wise, the Statue of Liberty is ~ 7500 dishwashers, or ~236 London city buses.

Lengthwise about 104 dishwashers, or 5 buses.

/ math?

How do you know that? How do you know that hell isn't real and this isn't it?

SMB2811: How do you know that hell isn't real and this isn't it?

Philosophically, there's no difference between a consistent persistent delusion and reality.  You have to deal with your experiences as if they're real.  That doesn't include any acid trips you might take, because you should know from your overall experience what those will be / were, even if you forget in the moment.

If there's some kind of meta-reality you're missing out on, it doesn't really matter in terms of the choices you make unless there's a way to perceive it and interact with it.

ITS COMING RIGHT AT US

"at a distance of 93,000 miles"

Uh huh. Same as all these stories.

Meanwhile, every couple of seconds my apartment is narrowly missed by the traffic going 50mph down the road I live on. Talk about stress!

Entirely opposed to this view is the view that most humans can only handle a gigabyte of information anyway, so we go through life just trusting others to tell us what truth and reality are. That is just what humans are.

As you can expect, that does not always work out so well.

One of these days, after the Taliban move to the belt, we can blame them and start a system wide war that will last at least 20 years.

No, most of these stories end up saying that the rock will pass much further away than the moon is.  This one is considerably closer, about 3/8 the distance to the moon.

Hopefully someone got some good pictures as it went by.
