Now, *THAT* is a Tour-de-Force!

Kinda looks like a badass militarized version of the 'Chariot' from the original 'Lost in Space' series.

This things are amazing, that said, tracked equipment is stupid expensive to maintain. We have tracked equipment for our jobs and I've seen the repair costs first hand. Given the size of the vehicle and the operating specs, I'd guess that each track alone probably cost between 10-20k if you needed to replace them, not counting any of the other parts of the track assembly that undergo heavy wear. Don't even want to imagine how it would look if it snapped a track going at 60mph.

It has a 64 gallon gas tank so it can travel far. Really? While not as bad as military vehicles, I would expect it lists gallons per mile rather miles per gallon.

Also, when it blows a track on the high way will be epic. Especially if it requires rubberized tread for roads so it doesn't tear the road up. I am sure the owner can pay someone to swap the off road track to the on road track.

The making of Fury Road said those guys were really really unimpressed with theirs, which was an early prototype, a barely functioning deathtrap.

I wouldn't want the maintenance costs associated with a tracked vehicle that can go that fast.
Tracks are a pain in the ass.

Huh. I'm reminded that it's been a very long time since I've seen Damnation Alley. Might have to grab it for the server.

The problem is, you can't drive it anywhere. What fun is that?

I would guess the single piece rubber tracks are horribly expensive.

Does it come with seatbelts and airbags? If so, I'm out.
