Meyer's not going to do a Petrino...maybe.

He'll play the season out and leave because he'll know for a fact that when an NFL player is earning just as much as you and you offer jack shiat of value to him, he stops giving a fark.

I don't think he will take the USC job. On Hard Knocks he was talking to McCarthy after the game and saying how nice it was not having to recruit and try to persuade some kid to play and then have to monitor grades and such. He sounded as if he liked the pro game.

in March he was complaining that he didn't get to talk to free agents and work them out before having to make contract offers. everything was done via agents and front office people based on game tape.
