Headline is two words too long.

Ignorance once again highly on display as goes from the studio to lunch to have a burger and fries. Burger from a meat plant in Iowa, and fries from a farm in Idaho, both provided by those green card brown people.

And yet, this is sadly my rep:

Michelle Eunjoo Steel is a South Korean-born American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 48th congressional district since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, she concurrently serves as a member of House Minority Whip Steve Scalise's Whip Team for the 117th Congress.

So Fox News is not only wrong, but completely wrong.

And yet instead of changing your platform to possibly appeal to those people you just keep blaming them for all your problems.

Bad at math, great at racism!

Of course all those people are Americans who have every constitutional right to vote, BUT the not-so-subtle subtext here is that they aren't REAL Americans because they are foreign born or from recent immigrant families

I didn't understand his point.

So, in a state like that if you throw out a lot of nasty racial attacks to that population, that's you know, we're not all paying attention that much to politics, that's going to move the needle.

Is he saying that republicans can't help but say racist things that hurt their prospects with non-white voters?

It's Jesse Watters - I'm not sure he understands his point either. He just really feels like he needs more "breathing room" and that's not happening, which leads to other unpleasant feelings.

Why should they change? It's those people that need to learn their place! Do you even GOP, bro?

shpritz: Why do all these dumb, lazy, dirty, thieving immigrants keep voting for the other guys?

He's *this close* to getting it.

All of these immigrant groups he opines about would seem to be very receptive to the Republican message. Immigrants are harder working than native-born people, believe in self-reliance, and in many cases are far more devout than Americans in their religious views. If you dropped the racism angle, these are the natural Republicans of the future.

FTFA "birthright amnesty"?

You mean the constitution of the United States?

If you think that America is a skin color and or a religion you are anti-American. The whole point of this country is to escape from being led by the idiot children of the well connected and successful, which by the way defines almost the entire FoxNews lineup.

Sorry, but that is the core of republican values. The rest are only phony trappings to disguise or justify this fact, although the veneer is starting to really wear away to reveal the naked hate. There is only hate.

Unfortunately, the majority of current Republican support appears to be in it for the racism too. The panic about immigration is a primary driver.

We know that uneducated whites and white evangelicals vote R, so we need to do something about that.  Send those back to where they came from via chain migration over the past 250 years!  Darn caucasians!

Mr. Watters never ceases to amaze me with his racist baitings.  Surprised he didn't drop this bomb on a live shot from Chinatown.

> Faux News host is bad at math

Huh?

FTFA:
But the real issue is immigration has killed the Republican Party in the state of California. The foreign-born population in the state of California is 25%. Foreign-born voters vote 2-to-1 Democrats.

https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/CA/EDU685219
Foreign born persons, percent, 2015-2019  --  26.8%

https://www.ppic.org/publication/immigrants-in-california/
California has more immigrants than any other state.
California is home to almost 11 million immigrants-about a quarter of the foreign-born population nationwide. In 2019, the most current year of data, 27% of California's population was foreign born, more than double the percentage in the rest of the country. Foreign-born residents represented at least one-third of the population in five California counties: Santa Clara (39%), San Mateo (35%), Los Angeles (34%), San Francisco (34%), and Alameda (33%). Half of California children have at least one immigrant parent.

Where are the FOX math errors?

Maybe the GOP should do more to court foreign-born voters instead of driving them away?

Toeing, with you toe on your foot by standing at a line abreast of others. I draw a line and everyone lines up shoulder to shoulder with the toes of their feet on the line ensuring uniformity.

No one is pulling any rope.

Foreign-born voters vote 2-to-1 Democrats. You do amnesty, you do those special visas, green cards, chain migration, birthright amnesty, you're just loading it up. We already know Hispanics vote 2-to-1 Democrat, Asians 2-to-1 Democrat, we know Blacks 90% they vote Democrat.

Whose fault is that?

can we stop using the word 'news' in association with Fox?   just call them what they claim to be... 'opinion and entertainment'.
they call themselves 'news' because that is what they want you to believe you are getting... it isn't.  much like the 'patriot act' isn't about patriots.

They seem incapable of, or just plain refuse to entertain the idea, of adapting their platform in that way.

Better to suppress the vote or manipulate the electorate, apparently...

FTFA: Watters: "You do amnesty, you do those special visas, green cards, chain migration, birthright amnesty, you're just loading it up"

Another way to say it is - "These are extremely industrious, religious, boot strappy people, which would be a total win for the GOP, but gosh darn it.. they're all so. farking. brown!"

Fun game is to ask Republicans to give a non-racist explanation for why their party is so unpopular with minorities and why those minorities consistently make the claim that Republicans are racist.

Are we, as a demographic, participating in some wide-scale deception lie?

Are we, as a demographic, somehow less capable than the white population of the country of determining if we're being discriminated again?

Is there some 3rd option available that hasn't been explored and is somehow less racist than those two?

I blame Reagan:  33% of Hispanics and Asians and 10% of Blacks should be institutionalized for voting against their best interests.

Well, kind of hard to appeal to a subsection of the population that you're trying to keep out and think are evil just because they were born outside of the country.

Changing their platform to cater to them would mean it not being the republican party.

HairBolus: Where are the FOX math errors?

I think the issue is, if 25% of the voters voted 2-1 against the Republican, and the overall vote was 2-1 against the Republican, then the remaining 75% of voters must have also voted 2-1 against the Republican.

Everyone on that panel was dumb, really really stupid people.  Sure some of them are paid to be that way, but mostly it is natural ignorance.
