It's a good way for their customers to get cardio. Either from running to the toilet or going to the cardiologist.

Your marketers were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

I still miss the 50-cent taco Sundays when I was on college.  Hit the spot after a rough football weekend.

I'd go for it if they delivered an enchirito a day in addition to the taco

Taco Bell helped me learn punctuation matters.

Let's eat grandma.
Let's eat, grandma.

Eating Taco Bell runs in the family.

With the exception of the spicy potato taco, I don't get tacos on the rare occasions that I do go to The Bell.

I'm assuming that this promotion is one franchisee's marketing idea.  My real question is who goes to TB and get one taco??  BOGO would be at least useful.

The dollar menu there is the answer to "I'm hungry, I'm broke, I don't have time for anything else." You can stuff yourself for $3.

/there are always risks when it comes to getting stuffed for $3

Listen head whipper snapper. In my day that was 2 JBCs and a 4 piece nugget at Wendy's.

And it was glorious.

/used to smoke my bong behind the Wendy's in college
//Nothing will ever taste as good as being a hungry college kid, high off his ass, and JBCs.
///yes even though I cook now. I seriously mean the second slash

Not a damned chance. That's quite literally a "$10 off 30 days of eating at Taco Bell." Who orders just one taco?

This gets you to go to a Taco Bell every day for 30 days - y'know, to "ensure you get the most for your money" - and that you'll likely order more than a single taco. More to the point, it also likely prevents you from going somewhere else, because, hey, you're already at Taco Bell. It's not like you're going to take your one taco, then walk or drive to a different fast food place to get something else.

That's a coupon.

The extra taco is only costing you $0.33 (per the article, $10 max/30 days), so almost free

but yeah, it's a marketing gimmick to get you in the door so you spend money on other crap

a taco there will set you back $1.49. So even a $10 pass pays for itself on the seventh visit.

I was told there would be no calculus...

But the hidden reality in that quote is that you'll still be paying for it after the seventh visit regardless, just one way or another. *shrug*
