So what do you need the cradle for except charging?

I bought a bluetooth adaptor for my Switch Lite for earbuds like 2 years ago and I was annoyed because I knew damn well it was already built in there, but much like a web browser, Nintendo will give you what it wants when it wants and we'll probably buy it anyway because ooo new Zelda coming out soon!

A new feature to try and exploit to get root access to the device? Sounds like some good clean fun to me.

I wish they'd give us USB MIDI access so that the Korg Gadget app wouldn't be so crappy.

I personally have never used it handheld outside of testing Completely Legitimately Acquired games. That's what the 65" TV ad 5.1 surround sound is for after all

Save Nintendo? Has there been a point since the Wii this was a concern? Even the Wii U massively flopping didn't put them on a doom watchlist. And the last few years have been great for them.

I get the meme about butts, but not the lead-in.

I wouldn't try to think about it too hard. The meme is probably more about the immediate post Iwata years if anything.

/The 3DS was actually DOA for the better part of a year before sales and software finally kicked in, they almost had two complete failures on their hands

Honestly, I'm shocked they aren't charging $69.95 to turn their laggy BT audio on.

Thinking Nintendo is doomed has been a thing for a long time. Despite you know, them having been around for 130+ years, having a massive cash reserve, etc.
