If they are fully vaccinated, then this isn't that big of a deal. Definitely keep them away from other folks so they don't spread it but vaccinated, young healthy people are by themselves very unlikely to have severe cases.

The ESPN article covered that Sean Peyton said they were 100 percent for staff and personnel so I guess we'll see if that was true. Terrible terrible luck in that case but if they are vaccinated, they probably saved themselves from a much bigger and worse issue

"Ok guys, here the play: QB takes the snap, immediately starts running for his life because an offensive lineman decided to stand around doing nothing while a defender ran right by him.  The QB will heave the ball to a wide open receiver because the defense doesn't understand how to play zone defense.  At the last second, a defender will miraculously appear in the right position, already in his interception animation.  The ball will then travel through the receivers head into the waiting hands of the defender.  After that, the ball will suddenly teleport to mid-field as if it were a kickoff.  The defense will then spend the next minute kicking the ball around, unable to pick it up.  When we finally recover it, we just have to convert the 4th and -2.  Easy touchdown, just like it works in Madden."

Oh, absolutely. If they aren't fully vaccinated than this would be catastrophic.

They key(s) isn't that the team will have vaccinations deaths.

On a football level, they could miss games. If the outbreak is bad enough it could cost y'all a game at worst and leave you with a bunch of backup coaches at best.

On a person level, if you are unwilling to get the vaccine then you are likely unwilling to take the nexessary steps to keep older and immuno-compromised people in your life safe.

*Follow-up - I didn't realize they were mostly vaccinated and should have put in something to cover that in my original post. My apologies.
