A new impact flash has been discovered on Jupiter by Brazilian observer Jose Luis Pereira

If that many people saw it, why does Jose get all the credit?

So, rando explosion, or asteroid impact? Because that would be a large asteroid, and it seems like it's something we should have at some time observed cruising in to our solar system.

We were tracking it but then the protomatter changed course and we lost sight of it for a bit.

Has anyone checked to see if all of Jupiter's moons are still there?

Most Jupiter impactors are not spotted in advance.  Though the first observed impact was a big exception.

I really did like the subtle digs at her not being in the fifth season because she was bucking for a raise.

She had one more season in a great show and all she had to do was come in and collect a paycheck for a season's worth of filming.

That was a big hit. Glad it didn't hit me.

I can't find the parody lyrics that someone came up with long ago...

Ivanova is always right, Ivanova is God
If you don't like Ivanova we find that rather odd

I see someone's updated the Litany Against Fear.

I'm not entirely comfortable with it. A bit turned on, sure. But still, a little uncomfortable.
