beezeltown: Are they a mating pair? If so, Alabama might become home to a new predator. That part of Alabama isn't too dissimilar to their home range across African grasslands. Sort of like a bobcat that roams the plains.

Yeah but the pair is brother and sister so...oh...never mind then.

I came here to mention Archer, and then realized that Babou is an ocelot, not a serval.  And no, I'm not sure what the difference is between and ocelot and a serval.

An ocelot is crepuscular, especially Babu. He's a freaking rebel.

One, don't slander Servals by comparing them to those inbred fail-cats called cheetahs.

Two, servals can produce viable fertile offspring with housecats.  (The first gen females only, then it's fine after)  So, yeah.. Even if the ones that escaped are related, they might find some Companionship with other cats around town.

Three?  Tradition.

Ocelots like cranberry sauce a lot; servals don't.

Maybe they were just looking for Friends.  Alabama does bear some resemblance to Japari Park as a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
