Or the studio can't afford pushing off its release indefinitely.

I love these movies, but I won't risk getting the D(elta) over it.

Get vaccinated.

No, time to die.

The vaccine only helps prevent serious illness.  It doesn't prevent infection.

Bond movies are fun over-the-top popcorn flicks for a rainy day where you can suspend reality for a couple of hours.

I plan on seeing it on a Tuesday mid-day showing where the theaters only have a dozen senior citizens reliving their dating youth.

There's plenty of room, air conditioning, and the sound system drowns out the noise of couples making out/heart attack/paramedics.

Bond movies usually copy whatever is popular at the time (Moonraker having spaceshuttles like X-Wings, etc). The last couple were like Bourne movies.

Yeah. It costs a fortune to reshoot scenes with up to date product placements.

I'm vaccinated and theaters largely have plenty of room. I'm in more danger at work.

2 hours and 43 minutes.  That's more than enough time to die from almost anything.

Seriously, October should be great, with both this and Dune being released. It's been literal years now since there were two movies in theaters, simultaneously, that I wanted to see.

I've yet to see Spectre, I almost watched it tonight but decided to watch some old Time Team episodes on youtube instead.  And I really can't remember if I've seen Skyfall or not, is there a fight on a crane in it?

That works for me and my wife, but not so much for her sister on chemo, or my kid too young to be vaccinated. But you knew that.

I'd be willing to show a notarized copy of my vaccine card for admission to either of these movies.

And pay for a large popcorn, Swedish fish, and gallon of Sprite at 100x the cost.

People like you should be banned from movie theaters.

My wife loves those.

Not my thing

I will not go to the movies at this time. There are too many idiots in my area who refuse to take basic responsibility for themselves. They are not vaccinated.

I will hide out in my home at this time and wait to see what happens.

Casino Royale is the one with the parkour fight on the crane.

Skyfall has the fight on the train, and the Home Alone homage on the Scottish moors.  It's the one where Bond sucks (can't shoot straight, fails all of his physical evaluations, and so on).

...All I'm going to say is this:  after this wait, and a 2 hour, 43 minute run time, this had better be the BEST Bond film of all.

If it ain't, it's gonna be the last.

Thanks, I do slightly remember the Scottish moors part. Seems that I have seen it but only the once, it makes it the only Bond film I've only seen once.

Just stream it at home. Reasonably priced food and no bathroom line.
