I hope he finds someone good to manage the place because these things usually end up in failure.

He's a good dude, I wish him success!

Portland Washington?

I'm probably missing something obvious, but why Portland?

I mean, nothing against Portland with its bridges and breweries, but why not Seattle, Oakland/Berkeley, or even Las Vegas (at each of which he has retail store locations and likely more popularity)?

Obviously the best initial chance of success for the restaurant is his name being attached.

/The only Portland connection I'm aware of is when he ran for 112 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 42-16 victory over Portland State.

Marshawn Lynch has always been one of the guys who is very good with his finances. It's unlikely that he'll end up bankrupt.

What's even worse is that the waiters will walk to within one yard of your table with your order and then pass it to someone on the other side of the dining room.

No. They haven't even been back to the championship game since. The right team won. Ball don't lie.

The Seahawks fan base encompasses more or less the entire PNW.  Portland is well within their fandom.

fatalvenom: JohnBigBootay: I think he seems like a cool person and he's very interesting. But these  fawning articles that put him out there as having this amazing financial acumen are weird. Who knows if this is accurate but Forbes says his NFL salary earnings alone is around 59 million dollars. And they cite his net worth is 35 million in 2021. If he's really only worth 35 million on a gross of 59 million PLUS endorsements.... Well. That's just not super impressive. Is it? I mean I think the guy is not at all an idiot. But given the market conditions and the length of time he's been in it ( real estate OR equities) he doesn't seem to have generated an exceptional return if that net worth is accurate. Very cool that he's not likely to join those who lost it all.

Dude put movie theater ropes around his Lambo:

True. He's no Warren Buffett but still, it's prudent to take good care of your car.
